Everything starts with a vision before fruition. Being here for our sisters funeral and being surrounded by our family we've made so many connections to links that were once broken. We are a family connected by blood with roots that stem in the harshness of the lava fields of Saleaula. With the vastness of the earth in between us, our family has made roots in distant lands. Mahonri, our cousin/brother had discussed the desire and vision to bring our family together for the purpose of connecting our children, to establish a bond with one another, and to strengthen it through fellowship. I humbly and respectfully ask that delegates from each of Tiresa's (our late grandmother) children use this page to communicate and discuss ideas to make this vision into fruition. The delegates have been added to this page. To get things started, it is best for us to discuss and finalize a date for the week- long family reunion. This will be an open discussion and a lot of things need to be taken into consideration eg: school, work, transportation etc. December was a time frame that was highly favored among a few of our family members while here in Samoa. Maybe we can start with dates in December and see what works best for everyone. Please feel free to use this post to comment dates and concerns.
