Has anybody else spent the last couple of days feeling all autumnal or is it just me??

Evening all! Oh, it's been way too long since I posted anything but I've been away on a wonderful long break to Cornwall with the family.

I'm working on a few new ideas now I'm back and will have some things to show you very soon 😊

And so it's that time again, time to choose the colours for my next project.

I have a blanket in mind for these ones and I think its going to be a stunner! Can't wait to make a start on it.

And so this little guy is finally finished and getting ready to go to his new home.

I'm not going to lie, I had some difficulty with this one and really couldn't get it to go right to start with (100% user error and nothing to do with the pattern!) but now it's finished I'm pleased as punch with it and think it's super cute.

The only thing making me feel better about how many I have to do is the fact I can do it outside in the 🌞

It's been a little while but I'm back working on this beaut.

There's something about this blanket, especially when it's laid out like this, that makes me dream of ice cream by the sea. I'm not sure whether it's because the ripples remind me so much of waves or because the colours are just so yummy, but either way I'm here for it!

So I went with a ripple blanket in the end. I'm loving the colour combo. No pattern as such, just me winging it 😂

I'm about to make a start on my next blanket. Well, I need to decide what pattern I'm going to have a go at first but I'm pretty certain these are the colours which are going to feature in it 😊

Inspired by Gryffindor colours as a gift for a big Harry Potter fan, this is definitely the biggest blanket I've ever crocheted and I love it!

I didn't actually start off planning to name my blankets but midway through working this up I thought about how the colours were similar to something Mrs Hinch might have in her home and the name was born!

The blanket measures approx 100cm x 85cm, a perfect size perhaps for keeping away the chill in the garden on an early summer evening or relaxing with a nice cup of tea.

I have one of these ready made and can make more on request.
