“Doodooshaboo” roughly translates to “breast liquid (breast milk) in Zhaagnoshimowin from Ojibwemowin 💛🖤

This collection was inspired by my sisters and their journeys as parents.

Side note: Although some people believe, “breast is best” I firmly believe FED IS BEST. There is no shame in not being able to produce milk or a sustainable amount of milk, being unable to chest feed for various reasons, or using formula and other supplements to feed your kiddo. As long as baby is eating, all is well in creation! Body love and body acceptance comes in many forms.

Many of my Trinidadian ancestors grew & sold beets on the side to pay off their “debt” and make it out of indentured labour 🤟🏽

As a dreamer, beets are extra special to me because their leaves contain potent visioning medicine. Beet greens are one of my favourite summer snacks at the gardens lol!! I’ll eat em covered in dirt hahaha
