Asian theme/Large Lap Quilt that could be used as a smaller twin size/OOAK

61″ wide by 77″ long

Top is made with R. Kaufmann ‘made in Japan’ 100% cotton (one of the highest quality quilting cottons available) and R. Kaufmann Kona 100% cotton solids, also quilt shop quality.
Backing is R. Kaufmann Kona 100% quilt shop quality wide backing.
Batting is Pellon 80/20 which means it is 80% cotton and 20% polyester to help maintain it’s shape.
This quilt has been machine quilted and has been prewashed to ensure the fabrics do not run which is important when you are using red fabrics. It is meant to be used and loved.
For the first few washes, this quilt should be washed in cold water and can be put in the dryer at a low temperature to partially dry and then it should be spread out flat to dry completely.

And remember that this 'cost' list is for a fairly simple quilt. When you get in to better quality fabric and more difficult patterns, then the price would definitely be higher.

Made with 100% cotton, this quilt has 4 corner pockets to enter 2 dowels, if hanging on a wall.
The bottom dowel adds a bit of weight to the piece and I find it hangs better with a bottom dowel.
Also note the Shamrocks that are “quilted” on this piece.
