Love for the Lord is not proven in words, but in deeds. You will know for yourself that you love Jesus if you do what He says. Jesus is God. To reject Jesus is to reject God and those who reject God are rejecting the Holy Spirit. Work out your faith to do good works because you love Jesus, knowing that He first loves you by granting you a path to walk, for you to be good and excel.
Dear Lord,
I pray that you send me your spirit that I may consciously spend these moments with you, with peace in my heart, my body and my soul. Hush my heart as a baby is hushed in its mother's bosom, as a child's heart is locked in its father's tight embrace. appeasing all its fears and ancieties. Let your spirit settle down with me tonight as I rest in your peace and love. amen.
