This Saturday I’m playing a moderately spooky but exceptionally fun set at Other Half Buffalo for their Halloween Party at Seneca One!

From 5-9 you can grab super cool s**t from This Darn Yarn, Perfectly Wretched Art and Decor, and , vibe to your favorite pop-punk+, trick-or-treat for beer, and have an all-around killer time. 🔪

Costumes aren’t mandatory but fun is. I’m going to throw candy at you if you come, and shade if you don’t. Candy is tastier than my ire; don’t make me scorn you.

I drew this when I was sixteen…all the way back in 1998. Dammit was the first blink song I heard and Dude Ranch was my first album.

At the time I was into bands like Green Day, Offspring, Nirvana, and Weezer that had introduced me to the idea of punk as pop music, but when I ran out to buy Dude Ranch on CD and heard Pathetic for the first time…everything changed (🌽).

I hadn’t known any music so fast but catchy, so rough but tender, so melodic but totally chaotic before then.

From there I worked my way through Bad Religion, the Descendents, and all the Fat and Epitaph bands of the ‘90s, but man…nothing ever quite hit like blink.

Here I am, entering my elderly life at 40 and blink-182 has given me one hell of a birthday present.

I literally bought apple shampoo because of you.

I had that poster of Mark, Tom and Travis in their underwear on my bedroom wall and my family did not understand that.

I still vividly remember hearing What’s My Age Again for the first time and thinking, “wow…this is what this music can sound like”?

Dude Ranch and E***a are firmly cemented in my foundation.

I’m drunk and sitting at a bar as I type this.

I’m sure Mark, Tom and Travis wouldn’t have it any other way.

Cheers, guys. I’m happy that Mark kicked cancers ass. I’m happy that we got some cool albums with Skiba (ALK3 💀😍 is another story). And I’m fu***ng stoked that ya’ll are back together again. I’m not sure that I’ll get approved for a loan for the tour next year, but I can’t wait to hear the album.

I’m back at in a couple weeks with great news for my fellow olds—it’s even earlier!

That time I met my goddamn hero Brendan Kelly from Lawrence Arms and after a Bad Religion show in Rochester.

The band was headed to The Bug Jar and I asked if he would mind if we tagged along…he didn’t. After meeting up we shared a super cool 45mins stool to stool at the bar talking absolute s**t cuz we were both very drunk. The words don’t even matter because the experience spoke a thousand of them.

I listen to all of your stupid podcasts while imagining you’d have a good time hanging out with me again. Whatever, YOU’RE SO PARASOCIAL. 💀
