On “The Diary Of A CEO” podcast, Dr. Will Bulsiewicz presented a case for the benefits of a plant-based diet, and millions listened! In fact, it has become the most listened to podcast on the channel since November 2023! 🌱🤩

Dr. Will Bulsiewicz (better known as Dr. B) is one of the world’s most renowned gut health doctors (gastroenterologist), and author of the 2x bestselling book “Fiber Fueled” with special interest in the human gut microbiome. 👾

While there are many wonderful insights into gut health shared on this podcast with Dr. B, the message that was repeated the most was the importance of having a diverse plant-based diet including fruits, greens, nuts, legumes, seeds, and grains. 🥗

Dr. B listed his favourite foods for gut well-being in the form of an abbreviation “F GOALS”. This stands for:

F: fruits and fermented foods

G: green vegetables, grains (whole grains)

O: omega-3 super seeds including chia, h**p and flax seeds

A: aromatics including onions, garlic, shallots

L: legumes including beans, peas, and lentils

S: shrooms (mushrooms), seaweed, sprouts

It is wonderful to see popular podcasts hosting plant-based doctors and giving them a platform. Science cannot be silenced, and the vast, most credible scientific sources repeatedly state the benefits of a well-planned plant-based diet. 🌱

Red cabbage may be two superfoods in one. It has all the cancer-fighting indole-carbinol and isothiocyanates of green cabbage, but it also has an incredible 470% more antioxidants thanks to its red coloring. Red gets it color from the same compounds—anthocyanins—that make blueberries blue, and it has 29% more! Besides being powerful , anthocyanins are also potent cancer fighters. Cabbage Rolls - Don't LOSE this recipe
INGREDIENTS
For the Filling:
1 large head of green cabbage
1 cup cooked rice (white, brown, or any grain of your choice)
1 cup cooked and drained lentils or chickpeas (or a mixture of both)
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
