The Idealistic and Pragmatic -
15th Aare Onakakanfo Of Yoruba Land; IBA GANI ADAMS ..

We all know that a pragmatist is an individual who is realistically practical, and does not based all his/her dealings on theories. The present situation of Yoruba Land right now needs a workable synergy between all and sundry.

The Aare Onakakanfo Of Yoruba Land is always calling out the people who is at the helms of affairs, when it comes to the protection of lives and properties in Yoruba Land, known as Southwestern Nigeria, in the so called 1999 Constitution. But they choose to turn deaf hears to his calls of pragmatic idealism, because of party politics, selfishness, and godfatherism. Is this not a failure from the people and government who swore to protect us? I think we should all be mindful of our friends from our foes.

IBA GANI ADAMS, believe that the key to an effective and good leadership is through pragmatic idealism, because, pragmatism without an innovative touch of Idealism is kind of meaningless and by virtue, is impotent.

But, he is a giant strider and a bridge builder per excellence, who as always put into consideration the welfare of his people, by so doing he doesn't give in to side talks, blackmailing, slandering, propagandist and all other social media nuisance and parasites, that are hellbent in frustrating his sincere pragmatic idealism.

In this case, most of the Governor's, who are the chief securities of their respective states are doing so little or nothing to curb the menace facing us in Yoruba Land, in terms of insecurity and Injustice. He also reach out to them but they're not forthcoming. And also, all the house of assemblies in Yoruba Land should have enact a law to give a very resounding constitutional backups to the Western Security Network, popularly known as AMOTEKUN, so as for them to be able to carry out their duties diligently and effectively, but they choose to wait for their godfathers to give them the go ahead before they can act, all in the name of politics. "It is so SAD" 😥

Most of our Royal Father's and Paramount rulers have a major roles to play in curbing the menace of insecurity in Yoruba Land, we look unto them for guidance, so they should also live up to expectations.

Some re****ed and gullible Nigerians and Oduduwa descendants, are saying that the Aare is doing nothing to curb the insecurity in Yoruba Land, that is so callous minded of them if i may say, because they know that the Aare Onakakanfo of this present day, doesn't have the absolute power as it is in the time of old "OYO EMPIRE", because as of now, we have legalized and constitutionally stipulated security agencies that are magnificently on ground for their different duties. And if any individuals or group people try to take it upon themselves to do the job that are meant for them, that person or group of people will be quickly labeled and incarcerated.

IBA GANI ABIODUN IGE ADAMS, the 15th Aare Onakakanfo Of Yoruba Land, have structures across all Yoruba cities, towns and villages, he get first hands intelligence every now and then, but he always does things in between the ambit of the law. But, that as it may, he as always told us to defend ourselves with everything in our possession, he said, and I quote, "be fierce, brutal and decisive, when dealings with external and internal aggressors", because he cannot declare war on any tribe or ethnicity when we are not in any state of anarchy, but, we can surely defend ourselves with all justification.

For decade's now, IBA GANI ADAMS as been calling for restructuring of Nigeria, but nobody heeds his calls, he calls for true federalism and regionalism, nobody heeds his calls, and the Yoruba's are at the negative receiving end of injustice, nepotism, and incarceration, and all our political elites sees nothing wrong with all these. If they don't act fast and timely now, it will spell doom for them, because we will hold them accountable for our present and future predicaments.

IBA GANI ADAMS, is an activist and freedom fighter, but will surely work with any political elites, individuals, group of people, organizations, political power mongers, self-determinationist, activist, tribe's, and all true Yoruba son's and Daughter's, who are capable and ready to help bring out Yoruba Land, out of these present insecurity, nepotism, slavery, incarceration, and Injustice situation ravaging us today.

The Story Is Told:

This painting of a young woman breastfeeding an old man in a prison cell was sold for Euros 30 million. The painting may look perverse but the story behind is from historical records.

The poor man was sentenced to "death by starvation" for stealing a loaf of bread during the reign of Louis XIV in France. The woman was his only daughter and the only visitor to his cell. She was allowed to visit him daily but was frisked thoroughly such that no food was taken in.

When after 4 months the man still survived with no weight loss, the authorities were perplexed and started spying on her in the cell and to their utter astonishment found her to breastfeed her father to the fullest sharing her baby's milk. The judges then realizing the compassion and love of the woman for her father, pardoned the father and set him free.

This piece of history brings into focus how deep is a woman's compassion in our daily lives that men often tend to overlook.

Morenikeji, a 42 year old woman who comes from a wealthy family got married to Dotun 12 years ago. But unfortunately the marriage was childless. Apart from coming from a wealthy home, Morenikeji also has a very good job, while Dotun is just a civil servant.
