Good Friday Service's are a Go!! Thats right, on April 15th the MHEA will be hosting not one, but two Good Friday Services at Hillcrest Church!! Tickets are required as space is limited but totally free! Your options are either 10AM or 11:30AM and there are links below so get yourself a spot!

We have come to our final hour of what has been an amazing day reflecting on the cross and praying for the various needs of our city. Before we conclude, let us not forget to pray for those who need to have a relationship with Jesus. Let us join with Yusef Mohammad of Hillcrest Church and pray for the salvation of our city!
There is nothing that can stop a city that is united! Let us set aside our desires and join with Pastor Roland Weisbrot from Luthran Victory Church and pray for unity within our city.
Let us join with Pastor Roland Schlenker of Victory Life Church as we take some time to pray for our government!
This past year there has been so much change and inconsistency for those who provide education within our city. Patricia Talbott from Eagles Nest Ranch is going to lead us in prayer for teachers and educators within our city. Let's pray!

Good afternoon, Medicine Hat! Thank you so much for taking some time out of your day to join us for prayer. To kick off our Day Of Prayer, Joon Lee from Global Prayer House will be leading us in praying for the young adults of Medicine Hat.
We are pleased to be presenting the Annual Good Friday Service again this year! Normally we would be gathering at the Cypress Centre but for obvious reasons that would be too large a group so the plan is simple.

Let's be praying for one of our cities amazing Pastors!! Here is a post from Pastor Steve from Hillcrest Church as he prepares for heart surgery next week.
Its a bit of a long post but definitely great to have all the details to be praying specifically.
"Update - February 12, 2021
Thanks again for praying. I've put together a rough outline of the process over the next week so that you can pray for us each step of the way.
Monday. Our family is driving up to Calgary between 12-4pm. Pray for safety along the way.
Tuesday. I will be at Foothills Hospital at 9:00am for pre-op preparations. The surgery is scheduled for 12:30pm. Please pray specifically for the surgeon and his team.
Tue-Wed. I will be in ICU for 1-2 days following surgery. I am allowed one visitor only for this time and once I'm out of ICU no visitors due to COVID.
(Foothills has had no trouble with cardiac patients and their families taking COVID precautions seriously, however, general visitors are not being as careful so... that means I get no visitors for the rest of my stay.)
Thurs-Sat. I will be starting physio and in an isolated recovery room.
Sat-Mon. I will be continuing physio and in a shared room.
Monday. Tentatively, I will be discharged Monday and back in Medicine Hat by the end of the day.
Some other things to pray for.
Health in these final days leading up to surgery. This is not the time to catch anything! Lol.
Angela, Sarah, Michael as they are in Calgary for the week. They want to be near, however, no visitors allowed except for that small window. This will be tough, so please pray for them!
A smooth recovery process as I start physio in the hospital.
A good integration back to home life post-surgery. Apparently I will be able to do stairs, and make my own coffee by the time I return home.
My state of mind is good. I am at peace with the surgery. I'm ready. I can't wait to take on the challenge of recovery. I see God's hand in the timing of all things right from last January (2020) until today.

In light of the COVID case numbers in Medicine Hat, we have delayed the next Prayer For Life event until December 6th!
Hopefully we can make this event work but in the event that restrictions are in place we will plan on doing something online via zoom or Facebook live to still provide an avenue for church's to be praying together. We will keep you updated in that in the weeks to come. :)

What an amazing opportunity we have as a city to gather together as ONE church to pray for hope, peace, freedom, and LIFE!! Let’s gather and speak some life into the lives afflicted with addictions!!
We will also have staff from AHS Addictions and Mental Health on site so if you need pray and or some free counseling then by all means come on out!
