Devagange, Nagara town, near Shivamogga
It features 7 pools and a Shiva temple. The largest pool is fed by water from the hills, and the overflow is directed to the other 6 smaller pools. The water level in the largest pool remains constant even in peak summer.
Devagange was constructed by Shivappa Nayaka of the Keladi dynasty some 400 years ago. The pools were supposedly built to be used by queens.

The newly inaugurated Parashurama Theme Park near Karkala, Karnataka.
It features a 33-feet tall bronze statue of Lord Parashurama (the 6th incarnation of Vishnu), along with an audio-visual museum, amphitheater with 500 seats, a viewpoint on top of the 450 ft high Umikal hill, history of Parashurama depicted through murals and a restaurant.
