I’m 33. It’s my Jesus year. Although I’m not striving for perfection, my goal this year is to be as intentional as possible about what I want my life to look like.

I crave to be more than just a survivor of my circumstances. I want to curate my memories, I want live a full life and be an example of what it looks like to be uncompromising for my son. I think that’s what Jesus wants for me.

I’ve gone with the flow long enough. It’s time to direct the current.

2021 saw me become a mother 2 times over. I’m so thankful for the milestones I’ve reached both professionally and personally. Here’s to another 365, may they see you prosper and flourish. 🤲🏾

I’m blessed to have the support of my community!! This has been a very fruitful year for me!! I never thought I’d be releasing new music and welcoming a healthy baby all in the same year. This is only the tip of the iceberg!

I’m really terrible at self promotion, cuz believe it or not I never liked being in the spotlight.

But messages like this really get me going. If I never make any money from my art (I’m not opposed to money, just not the spotlight. Just wanted to be clear about that 😁), I will die happy knowing that my music changes lives, mindsets, dispositions, trajectories….

I wanted to write a tape about love and marriage. This, the first single from my project “5:1” is an ode to men. Like proverbs, I wanted to speak to the light that dwells within all men, the kingly nature that doesn’t always get the attention it deserves. I know you know how to love us, it’s just sometimes you need to be reminded that you’re capable.
