When I speak about my trauma, health issues, etc, it isn't for attention, it isn't to be a martyr to wallow in my pain. It is because when I see others do the same, speak out about their pain or their healing, it makes me realise we ALL have some level of horrid stuff to deal with - and we shouldn't ever be keeping that bottled up inside, not like I had to for the first half of my life.

Part of my work is to create beautiful photos and moments. But they are only a very small part of it. You don't see me on the bathroom floor crying. You don't see the panic attack, the spasms, the laying awake all night with my skin crawling, not being able to leave the house.

But that also doesn't take away from the beautiful moments I work hard to create, and I want them to be enjoyed, and I LOVE seeing them all come together, and it makes me feel proud.
I also don't ever want anyone to not know what the reality is of my everyday, so that if your reality right now is tough, know you are not alone. 🖤 be kind, always. You NEVER know what someone is going through.
It's cliche but it's true. 🫶
