Happy Birthday Caroline!!!
Kicked off the early hours of Caroline's 27th at Seaside Heights FINALLY touring the Jersey Shore house like she wanted.
Thankful to have these amazing people in my life!

Nothing says a trip to New England like a wharf side dinner of lobster rolls and steamers.
I love getting to come up to CT to hang out with Caroline and her fiancΓ©e Mike -- which is something I'll cherish because being a fiancΓ©e is something that really doesn't last all that long when you think about it!

I've had the absolute best weekend, and being able to round it out with these guys is just the icing on the cake.

Got to hang with the coolest people for a little belated birthday party! We went to & for some yummy drinks, and then came home for sushi and games.
Just feeling blessed to have these ladies in my life through all this time. πŸ’œ

I had to include a couple of pictures with Wallace because he was the life of the party, as always. 🐾

Thanks for coming out guys! I had such a great day! 🀟

The other day I had to straighten my hair for an exercise in class, and it made me think about how excited I am to be able to change my hair again.
I would love to be cast in a role that pays me to make it green or do an undercut or something else I've never done before.
I also would love to get to a point where I get wigged regularly, so I can make my hair purple or teal again.

For now, I'm rocking these natural colors and dreaming big.

Had a magical time with conquering the Green and Elusive Red Trail at Kittatinny Valley State Park! We definitely took a detour through The Faewild at some point, but the fact that I'm posting this means that we did in fact return safely. πŸ§šβ€β™€οΈ

Quick appreciation post for the fit, because I love wearing this and I apparently only get to wear it to "Stranger Things" related events.
Shout out to for the sick shirt.

So grateful to have gotten to see with my amazing friends before it closed. I spent the entire night just feeling such gratitude for & .c.ford for coming out and allowing me to continue indulging in my obsession in good company.
The show was phenomenal, as always!

There's a certain depth and honesty to black and white photos that's hard to achieve with color. Without the distraction of bright hues and flashy tones, you're left with a raw and unfiltered portrayal of the moment, capturing the true essence of the scene. And when you add a genuine smile to that mix, you're left with a moment of pure, unadulterated joy that's both timeless and profound.
- Will Strutin

Part of the joy of getting to shoot with Will is hearing profound thoughts like that in real time. You get up at the crack of dawn to get to a cool windy beach and together you pursue a dream. You get to talk about passion for your craft and hear perspectives that you don't get to think of on your own. There's an energy you can never anticipate but always catches you through the lens. Sort of like what happened here.

FINALLY getting around to posting this picture, but I had to save the best for last. When I saw the preview of this picture, I actually got emotional. I just never saw a picture of my face that captured it quite like this.
We all have our own mental distortions of how we look, but in this photo, I felt like I was able to see myself how other people see me.
I'm not smiling, but I look proud.
I look strong. I look in control. I look powerful.
I love this picture.

Once again, I ask your thoughts on it.
Who does she look like to you?

Thank you again to these amazingly talented humans for creating these shots with me. πŸ’œ

So I got to see with , and what an amazing show!

I have so much to say, but to begin, I have to comment on the set design for this show. Initially the theater is designed like the basement of the Wheeler's with a D&D table at the center of the room. I love that this is where we begin on this adventure, because the incredible ability this room has to transform with minimalistic set pieces and skilled lighting is, in itself, an homage to the immersive adventures you go on in a game of D&D itself.

I must share my appreciation for the attention to detail with the costumes. They're all incredibly true to the show, and just added to the immersion for me.

The writing. Omg, the writing. How do you balance fan jokes and fourth wall breaks while maintaining the integrity of the story? However you do it, the writers here know how. One thing that Chris and I kept talking about was the balance of this story which was something that I never had the privilege of noticing like this before. The only thing I could compare it to is "the perfect level" from Rick & Morty.

The performances were absolutely phenomenal. Every actor made it look easy, which I know it wasn't. I could only imagine how long it took to manage the laughing at rehearsals. Going along with my recognition of balance, no actor outshined the others. Each actor basked in their moment and passed the light fluidly to the next. It was so great to see that in an ensemble cast. Also, I can safely say that never in my life have I ever wanted to be a tree in a show more than I have here.

I could speak forever about this incredible show, but no words could equate to the experience it was seeing this show. I must advise you, if you are a fan of Stranger Things please go see this show. Their run was extended once again, so there are plenty of opportunities to see it twice!

Last time I posted about my website I was really proud of how it looked, but over the past couple of months it has gone through a massive overhaul.
I have to say -- This is SO MUCH BETTER.
Have a look! Let me know what you think!

It's been one year since Colleen crossed the rainbow bridge.
It's definitely been an emotional day, but I'm so grateful that this beautiful soul touched my life.
Whether you believe it or not - doesn't matter - but over the past year I've still felt her presence around the house and have even seen her hobble into my room every now and again. Sometimes she stops by in my dreams to say hello also.
I miss you so much Colleen. We all miss you.
Love you, baby girl. πŸ’œ

I am elated that I was able to see before it closes! It was a fantastic show, absolutely oozing with talent, but I cannot get over the production design. I mean, the sets ALONE were just stunning -- I still can't get over them.

Thank you and for this incredible Christmas gift!
Thank you for coming and taking this picture. You can barely see where the person behind me was. Lol

So back in September I had the absolute ✨ pleasure ✨ of getting new headshots done by .
I am incredibly in love with all of these pictures, and I haven't meant to delay sharing them, but you know, life happens.
Finally, please enjoy these as they share them. I am a huge fan of Shani's work and highly recommend you check them out for your best shots.

And, of course, I couldn't post this without mentioning who did my hair and makeup. I am also a big fan of her and definitely recommend requesting her for your shoot.

I'm very much looking forward to the next time I get to work with them, but also am excited to finally start sharing these with everyone!

I've realized I've been falling behind on my goal to take more pictures of myself. Today I had to take an ID photo for my new PA job - neither of which are these pictures - but it reminded me to be kind to myself. (And to find good lighting when photographing myself.)
