So many of us were taught to think there is a right and a wrong way to live a healthy life.
But the truth is, you are the only true judge of what is right, for YOU.
You can stop paying attention to what the diet and fitness industries are promoting this season.
Many of these strategies are not scientifically proven, and none of these strategies will work for everyone.
Thinking youāre doing it wrong creates disconnection from your sensory body. You become largely unaware of what is happening within you and what messages your body is sending.
This connection is everything. It is how you discover what works for your body.

Yet when Iām convinced of this, there is so much that I donāt start, all because I am waiting for more time,
hours at a time,
to appear.
Working efficiently within the time you have is a skill.
You become more focused and directed.
So, if youāve been waiting for more time to get started on something new, just start now, with the time you do have.
Small pockets of time still count.
Just like I used to say about exercise when my kids were little, āSomething is better than nothing.ā
That really does still hold true.
Itās pretty amazing whatās possible, 10 minutes at a time.
Iāve been playing around this concept lately, doing 10 minutes of meditation. 10 minutes of Pilates. 10 minutes of sitting outside. 10 minutes of journal time. 10 minutes of meal prepping.
You can do quite a lot, with little pressure, just a few minutes at a time.
Donāt get me wrong, I still like to make room for longer walks, bike rides, and time spent with a good book.
But Iām appreciating more and more what I can do in the short spurts, too.
