For 9 years every night I’d leave my shop I’d say out loud, “ Bye Shop, thank you”.
Tonight I said it for the last time to this shop.

Sad and relieved in the same breath… this place has been my constant home for 9 years. I am grateful to this space and hope it’s next occupants love it as much as I did.

6 plus weeks between fills

7 days straight working playing catch-up. Can you really call it work when you love what you do. I’m fortunate to have found a career that fulfills me with Connection, creativity, gratification, variety, it’s also challenging. I’ll be 36 next month and I’ve been in my career since I was 19 years old. ♥️

Message to myself. CaLm YoUr T**s ... now that we’ve done as many clients as we humanly could in 4 days, the adrenaline has worn off. But the under eye bags are evidence we hustled we created, we laughed and we cried A LOT. I promised myself to approach this lockdown differently than the last. I was not in a good place last time... and that’s where I needed to be. Changes were made that put me in a better position this time. It still feels scary and the threads 🧵 of my sanity are still thin, but all things considered I’ll be ok. Mandi and I are very blessed to have curated the client relationships over our years in personal services. We are very GRATEFUL for the generosity, treats, alcohol, coffee, cannabis and warmth you all bring not just in crisis but every time we see you.
