Heslop & Stringer
Acoustic, folk duo from Liversedge, West Yorkshire.
Lovely evening down at Morley Folk Club
We like to post a few clips of our gigs for anyone that couldn’t make it down. If you listen closely, you might hear a few snippets of new material in this set from The Old Grocers at Pontefract.
We’ve got a bit of a break now until our busy period of gigs begins in April.
We’re going to spend the rest of winter finishing the recording of our new songs for album 2.
If you want us to:
-play at your venue
-visit your folk club/acoustic evening/open mic
-provide a supporting set for a gig you’re playing
in 2024 or beyond……
please do get in touch and we’ll see what we can sort out. See you all soon 😊
Top afternoon in Pontefract! Thanks to Brad Jack, Acoustic Afternoons - Pontefract and The Old Grocers for having us and to everyone that listened to our set.
This time next Saturday, the 27th January, we are returning to Pontefract and The Old Grocers to take part in the wonderful monthly Acoustic Afternoons - Pontefract run by our mate Brad Jack

We’ve managed to piece together some videos of “I’ll Just Dream Of Holding” from several gigs as a nice way to look back on a brilliant year.
In 2023 we were able to play at some of our favourite local venues and events, got booked to play at some fabulous folk clubs and festivals, supported some world class musicians, had our tracks played on the radio and met lots of amazing new friends along the way.
If you’ve been to a gig, bought a cd, streamed our songs, booked us to play at your venue or event, played our track on your radio station, taken video of or sound engineered our performances and helped us to do what we love doing: Thank you.
Happy New Year. Here’s to a great 2024.
