In the process - took this today while recording acoustic tunes today😌

As I am working on my new song which I hope to release in the next month, I realized today, after recording electric guitar tracks for two days, the song just sounds better with an acoustic base 😅So I started all over again recording everything that I had just recorded with acoustic guitar. These things are super normal, they take their time and are all part of this process of finding the right sound to a song that feels right for you - stay tuned and have a lovely Sunday 🤎🎬

Finding new sounds and techniques for songwriting can be very interesting but on the other also quite frustrating. You try and try and things sound like sh**. If you’re able to hang in there, things eventually get better and try after try a song (line) emerges. Honestly, sometimes it takes me months to write a new song, especially when working with new instruments and sounds like I do now. My impatience doesn’t always like that but I know it’s all part of the process and worth to hang in there ✌️🧡

I always find it interesting what gear musicians use during there performances, especially as I am quite new to performing on my own. Having sung in a number of bands in the last years I never really cared about what effects and gear needed to be used for guitars or voice looping for instance. This changed now and I am very happy to have had this inspiring conversation last week in Frankfurt :) stay tuned 🎶♥️

✨🐉„NOCTURNAL“ is the last song of my debut EP of the same name. 🐲💿

It’s the only classical and instrumental song that I added to the album and was mainly written on keyboard but also includes some string elements.

🌼⚡️Today I like to share with you the song „BETTER DAYS“ of my new EP „NOCTURNAL“ 📀⚡️

I was writing the song while several close friends of mine were going through some rough phases. We all do from time to time. Break-ups, loss of a loved one or just a bad day, you name it. This is absolutely normal and belongs to life as well even though, especially here on social media it can seem as everyone’s life is just glitter and fairytales… So this song is for everyone out there facing some challenges at the moment. It’ll pass, trust me 🌼🤍

🤍⚡️Today I like to present you the first song „NO MOTHER NO FATHER“ of my new EP „NOCTURNAL“ ⚡️🤍

I had first ideas for this one already back in 2020 when doing field work in the German woods for my master thesis. While trying to finalize the songwriting I created numerous versions of this song... some on keyboard, some on guitar… none of them felt quite right until I started recording the EP this January and suddenly the process started to flow gradually. It’s interesting how sometimes we have to take the next step even though we feel the one before isn’t really finished but that‘s what gets us the next level ✨🌙
