The BusBoys, one of America’s premiere Rock, Roll & Soul bands have been tapped to perform at the San Diego Urban League’s 70th Anniversary Gala Thursday, December 7, 2023, at the US Grant Hotel in San Diego, California.
The San Diego Chapter of the Urban League is an iconic institution that has distinguished itself by providing stellar services and support for San Diego’s African American and minority communities, helping them achieve their highest human potential and securing economic self-reliance.
The Grammy Honored BusBoys are a pioneering Black, Rock & Roll band that continues to carry forth the musical innovation and legacies of Chuck Berry, Little Richard and Jimi Hendrix. “We are honored to have been chosen to provide the entertainment for the San Diego Urban League’s 70th Gala” says Brian O’Neal, the band’s leader. “The BusBoys have always sought to achieve and maintain excellence and self-reliance throughout our career. In line with the Urban League’s mission, determination and positive focus on our goals has helped us turn any and all challenges into stepping stones of opportunities.”
The BusBoys encourage all of their friends and fans to join them in donating to and supporting the San Diego Urban League and its chapters across the nation. Brian states “Encouraging one another is an American tradition that helps define us and allows each of us to share the best of ourselves.”
