I know it’s meatless Monday but on account that this Monday feels likes a Sunday, I decided to make Smonday kind of dinner 😂👌🏾 I have two different versions of lemon and herb chickens here. Felt that extra 😅
French toast and bacon is my ultimate fave ever ever! 😍🥺☺️
I can’t resist these chocolate cinnamon buns. Here’s the recipe 😘:
FOR THE DOUGH:
* 1 cup warm milk
* 1 1/2 teaspoons instant yeast
* 1/4 cup sugar
* 1 egg
* 1 teaspoons vanilla extract
* 3 cups all purpose flour
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
* 6 tablespoons butter
FOR THE CHOCOLATE FILLING:
* 1/4 cup sugar
* 1 teaspoons cinnamon
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1/4 cup natural unsweetened cocoa powder
* 3 tablespoons butter, melted
* 3/4 cup chocolate chips
FOR THE SYrRUP:
* 1/3 cup powdered sugar
* 2 tablespoons milk
Here’s how:
1. Combine dough ingredients and knead for 10 minutes, set a timer.
2. Let it rest and rise for an hour until doubled in size
3. While the dough is rising, make the chocolate filling. In a small bowl, combine the sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and cocoa powder. Pour in the melted butter and stir to combine. This mixture will look a little granulated from the sugar. Set side to cool.
4. Butter a muffin tray and shape the cinnamon rolls
5. Punch down the risen dough and roll the dough into a rectangle. Spread the filling over the rough and roll it lengthwise. Cut into 6 equal parts with a floss
6. Bake at 180°C for 20mins
7. Glaze with syrup and serve warm 😋

The incredibly fluffy marble pound cake 🥲 here’s how:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Generously butter or spray a loaf pan; set aside.
3. Whisk together the cake flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
4. In a bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. Add 3 eggs, one at a time, beating until combined after each addition and scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
5. Mix in vanilla. Add flour mixture in 3 batches, alternating with the buttermilk and beginning and ending with the flour.
6. Scoop ⅓ of the batter into another bowl and set aside.
7. In a separate small bowl, mix the cocoa powder and ¼ cup plus 2 tablespoons of boiling water until smooth. Add the cocoa mixture to the small bowl of cake batter; and stir it well.
8. To assemble the cake- start by spooning the vanilla batter
For the second layer, alternate the pattern, spooning vanilla batter over the chocolate and vice versa.
9. Use a knife or skewer to swirl all the batters together. Make a couple figure 8s and run it back and forth so it is swirled and pretty.
10. Bake until a toothpick comes out clean, 40 to 60 minutes*.
Transfer pan to a rack to cool 10 minutes. Turn out cake from pan and cool completely on the rack.
