This is how I use my Nicco.Clutch.

When I’m not using my belt bag, I carry a larger tote, which allows me to carry my clutch like a wallet.

Budgeting this year has been very important, but one of the hardest things to do since swiping a card is so easy.

Handling cash may not be the best right now due to the virus, but it’s been the best for me in terms of tracking my spending.

The Nicco.Clutch can be used for many things, but I prefer to use it as an envelope system as shown. Dymo labels aren’t included, but they’re inexpensive to purchase.

For my family, we’re focusing more on the warmth that Christmas brings, and not necessarily what we should buy the entire family.

As a business owner, it is contradicting, and self inflicted monetary loss, to encourage others to not buy, or to instead gift time instead of something physical, but it may be the best for many this year. Send a text. Send a letter. Or, re gift something you already own and love.

Each Stitchmark is made mostly with recycled materials. The leather used was sourced locally in Los Angeles, California.

Each Stitchmark comes gift wrapped with hand painted kraft paper as shown.

Thrifting or buying second hand is my favorite thing to do.

Most of my wardrobe is second hand as well as a lot of my furniture or photography props.

There’s a store in Riverside called .treasures that I love. The owner is absolutely attentive and kind. If you’re thinking about buying some gifts this holiday, maybe add some second hand finds to the mix and support a local small business.

Many of their items are restored and are absolutely beautiful.

Made with materials locally sourced in Leon, Mexico. Every item is made by hand. The process is slow, but it’s beautiful.

I once took a trip to Guadalajara and brought a small duffle, which carried my boots, a shirt, and undergarments. I was there for an entire week.

I was content with washing my pant and shirts at my grandmothers, like we typically do.

It was early May. It rained. A LOT.

It was actually the night before I had to drive to Leon for my meetings with a few handbag makers, and that night I forgot to remove the only clothes I brought with me from the drying lines. So, at 3 AM, I woke to soaked corduroy pants. CORDUROY. My mom and I spent three hours trying to dry everything with a hair dryer.

What’s the point of this story? Idk. Just like to share my melodramatic tragedies, and to say that I now only keep my purse and travel wallet minimal. I’ve upgraded to two pants and a few shirts.
