The Hoberman Sphere or โbreathing ballโ as I like to call it is one of my favorite mindfulness tools for kids. Itโs a great addition to any calm down space at home or in the classrooms. It provides children with a nice visual of whatโs happening in their belly as they breathe in and out.
Worry is universal; itโs something that happens to all of us from time to time. The next time worry is present, try this trick.
When weโre feeling overwhelmed, our attention gets stuck on a certain thought or memory. Mindfulness can help to bring the mind back into the present moment. You can use your senses to anchor your attention in your physical environment.
