Ever wonder what a corn is or why they are so painful? Corns are thick lumps of hard skin. The first pic is what was on this clients sole however with careful scalpel work the second pic shows what’s embedded in the foot and what I was able to remove. This is what causes the pain as all the pressure is placed on a small surface area.

Ever wonder why as a diabetic it’s so important to take care of your feet and let a professional do the job? Here’s why… the picture below is of a lady who I treat she had a build up of callus on the area and once I removed the callus underneath this is what I unveiled. This is a diabetic foot ulcer, this was caused my a small scratch whilst my client was trying to get rid of the callus build up. This could have a resulted in losing the foot.
