1966 Cleveland Made Rogers Holiday 12x8, 16x16, 20x14 - $1600 plus shipping or free local pickup in Evansville, Indiana!

12x8, 16x16, 20x14 I’m excellent condition for the age.

This kit is absolutely gorgeous! 5 plies of overlapping maple and birch with beautiful maple reinforcement rings. Edges are perfect and the tags are on excellent condition. This kit sat in a corner for almost 60 years and needs to be in the right hands.

This is the most modern of the vintage drums, with 45° bearing edges which gives some attack on that aged sounding kit.

The wrap has next to no fading and the hardware has minor minor pitting. The resonant heads are the original Rogers heads. On top are Evans Calftones

Cleveland made kits are considered some of the best drums ever to be produced. One of the toms says Dayton on it, but it’s just the headquarters that moved. This isn’t an orphan kit it was birthed together in the factory. Pre CBS split, just all in all a fantastic kit.

Smells great too ;).

1970s 14x5 Ludwig Vistalite Snare Drum - $375 plus shipping or free local pickup in Evansville, Indiana!

We’re back with the dorm room special! I didn’t have access to properly clean the hoops, but I washed them in a nice soapy bath, along with the hardware, to bring a nice shine to it.

That being said, there’s still some rust and some pitting on it, but the hardware isn’t why someone buys a Vistalite snare.

So let’s get into what matters:

The shell is acrylic, giving a phat, warm, punchy tone; unlike the dozens of snares I’ve played. This would be amazing live, as I’ve loved the tapping around I have done in my dorm room. The shell has sone scratches, which I tried to capture, but nothing THAT bad. There are zero cracks. I repeat, zero cracks. No swirl marks, no cracks, that means it’s a good condition vista.

These are kind of uncommon with the shell being in this good of a condition, especially since it’s 50 years old. I gave it the triple novus treatment though, doing my best to bring back the shine.

The snare is oddly versatile. It has a decent range, with the potential to play country, blues, rock, worship, and many others.

Super fast, super design, and super cool! This pedal is an absolute TANK! It literally will never break on you, as Speed Kings are so simple in design, they just don’t break. On top of that, it doesn’t squeak!

There is some light rust and the chrome is coming off of the bottom plate, but it still works great as those don’t take away from playability.

Although originally designed to be a student snare drum, the LM404 has a deep and fat, warm tone that sounds good in every application.

This bad boy is in almost perfect condition, as it sat in its case for most of its life. The finish is absolutely stunning, with little sparkles in the dark finish.

Notably, Mark Guiliana used one of these on David Bowie’s final album: Blackstar.

A nice and solid maple snare with aftermarket lighter weight tube lugs. On top of that, the snare comes with a Dunnett strainer (which costs $70 alone).

The wood grain is absolutely stunning in person!

The snare has a little pitting on the hoops and the strainer, but nothing terrible. One spot of stripped chrome on the top hoop as seen in the pictures.

Sounds killer and has practically new heads! Perfect all around maple snare for any gig or occasion!

Very clean orange peel finish! The orange peel is a rarer finish, and kicks butt! The shell is in awesome condition and the hardware has some light pitting or scratches, but it’s a gig-proof snare that’s useful in any application! This snare is seriously groovy and needs to be in any drummers arsenal!

Tama Starclassic Black Diamond Pearl 8x7, 10x9, 12x10, 14x14, 20x16 - $675 with the 8”, $600 without!

Drum set is in Evansville, Indiana, but I am willing to ship or even meet.

Kit is in decent condition, with the only issues really being cosmetic. The edges are great, it’s a lovely birch kit with tons of attack and tone. Diecast hoops are in good condition and the kit is killer for gigs or studio use.

The Toms are a little deep, but it’s on a 20” kick, so adjusting everything is easier than ever. The kit had some yellowing, as these kits don’t really exist without yellowing. On the bottom of the kick hoop, some wrap cracked off, but it’s in the pictures. There’s scratches pretty well everywhere on this kit, but it’s amazing for gigs or studio use.

The 8” is in absolutely perfect condition and I will sell it off individually. No yellowing, no scratches, no nothing. I’ve never seen one in this finish look so good.

They are mint condition 20” Vintage Pure Crashes. Wobble and all, edges are wavy, but as I was discussing with a meinl dealer, this is how they are. Some are perfect, some have wobbling to them. Edges are perfect with no dents or flea bites. One on the left is 1798 grams and the one on the right is 1703 grams.

The story goes: the guy I got them from was in the midst of getting a meinl deal together. They sent him these to try out, but the deal fell through. They didn’t want them back and he didn’t play them. So they are literally 100% factory, just in my possession now.

Why pay $460 for a new one? Especially since these are literally new.

Gretsch's USA formula 6-ply maple Jasper shell is the cornerstone of "That Great Gretsch Sound." The shell is straight-sided, with hand cut and hand sanded 30-degree bearing edges and Gretsch Silver Sealer interior.

This model was the first-ever USA-made wood Gretsch 5x14 snare drum to feature 10 lugs. It was manufactured between 2002-2004, and is among the last of the original Jasper shells. It sounds just like it should: a high degree of sensitivity, rich woody tone, and very throaty (with an aggressive bark when laid into). It has the timeless sound of a classic 6-ply Gretsch snare, with the added precision of ten tuning lugs. Shell is perfectly in round and flawless. This is a wonderful example of a Gretsch USA Maple snare drum in a beautiful Natural Satin Blonde finish.

The 9000 has been an industry standard of high end kick pedals, with the power and speed to play anything! The XF version is the one with a longer footplate.

The XF has been messed around with. The previous owner gigged it a ton and it shows. Scratched up, has marks on it, even it looks like he rounded out a little bit of the footplate shown in the picture, but this is why it’s cheap. It’s $420 new.

The regular 9000 has some use to it and some scratches but is great for all around work.

14x5.5 Yamaha SD4105 Seamless Brass Snare - $385 plus shipping or free local pickup in Evansville, Indiana!

There’s a few things that really set a snare apart from the rest of the pack, and this snares got it. Aluminum diecast hoops, seamless shell, and plenty of funk behind it; this snare can do it all.

Overall good condition, with patina and some light pitting on the hardware, but she’s still a tank.

The original strainer was replaced by a universal Dunnet strainer, so no holes were added.

The truth is, this bad boy sat in a shed for almost two decades, so the fingerprints became a patina, but it really mellows out the drum. Added with a brand new Remo Fiberskyn, this bad boy is great for any application.

Tight and poppy, low and sloppy, this Yamaha is sensitive and ready for action!

Talk about mojo! This kit was bought new in Bloomington, Indiana by one of the jazz professors at Indiana University. The story is the teacher didn’t like the finish so he stripped the wrap and lacquered it back in the day. He removed the mufflers and plugged the holes too.

****THERE ARE NO EXTRA HOLES ON THIS KIT****

The kit is in good shape, with some pitting and rust as expected. The kit sounds fantastic though. Under one of the spurs, there’s a weird spot in the pictures. Looks like a factory job possibly? Not sure really.

Rock solid and ready for gigs or a fresh look to the studio.

Is it perfect? No. Is it a killer kit with tons of character? Oh yes.

There’s a lot to be said about Sonor, especially the SQ2. This is it, this is the top of the line kit. There really aren’t any birch kits that outdo this, with the undersized shells and the extensive lacquering process, or the virgin bass with an over-engineered mount.

This IS the dream kit.

The edges are sharp, and I mean it. These are the best edges I’ve seen on a kit. It’s not often you come across these kits, and especially not under the 5k mark.

This kit is in 9.5/10 condition, especially since it’s sat in a climate controlled studio or house it’s entire life.
