Peggy's journey

I wish I had fantastic news but I don't. Peggy is really really not feeling well. She was supposed to start her third round of chemo tonight but they are going to hold off another week. She isn't eating and if she does it's not much. From March 28th till today she has lost 18 lbs and that's not because she was trying. She has just been in pain with her mouth and then the cancer. She just needs rest and prayers. Lots and lots of encouraging words are needed.

Woooo hooo!!!! She completed her first round of chemo!!! Now she is off for a week before she starts again. I'm so dang proud of her!!! This wasn't easy. But she never complains! Love you mama. Your my Rockstar!!!

Good 2 week check up with the oncologist!!! Her spot on her neck is going down.

Not quite done with week two of the chemo and Mom is starting to feel it a little. Monday will be her first appt to see how her cancer markers are and make sure everything else is going ok. A lot of changes in the last month for her physically and mentally but she just continues to handle it like a Rockstar.

Noah definitely keeps her spirits up. Hoping to get a small road trip in somewhere soon.

Week 1 of chemo is done onto round 2 and handling it like a Rockstar! This week she will be getting a few teeth pulled in back so let's pray the keep the infection on check.

Mom is on day 3 of her oral chemotherapy pill. She does this at home. This is a medication she will do for 3 weeks and then will be off for 1 week. So far so good on tolerating everything.

She went to the dentist today and did great!!! Anyone who knows her, knows she hates the dentist. But we have a great team of doctors and now dentist to get her health in check and stop the cancer growth. That's all we can ask for!!! She is a Rockstar!!!

Welcome friend & family. I have created this page to share the info and updates of my mom's cancer journey. Its a lot of information and I don't want to tell someone something different so I will just tell this page and everyone can hear the same thing.
