"Together again, my darling Lilibet"
This has to be the most realistic digital art I have ever done! 🎨✍️
Apologies for being quiet on here, It's been a busy couple of weeks but i thought I'd share the final outcome of the Digital Portrait I've been working on. ✍️🤓
⚠️‼️ - Working Progress - ‼️⚠️
Thought I'd show you a mid-progress drawing. Keep an eye out for the finished version coming soon. ✍️👀
Attempted to create a cartoon style family portrait. Safe to say, it's not one of my strongest skill sets but it's a learning curve. 🤭
If you've ever had artwork from me, could I ask that you write a review please. It only takes a couple of minutes but it would mean alot to me and it would really help me to grow my page. ❤️
As the sun sets on another day I'd just like to thank everyone that has shown support since I created this page. ❤️
After all those pet portraits for everyone else, I thought it was about time I created one for myself. ❤️
Fast forward to 2022, I was asked by a family member (who had requested a Pet Portrait back in lockdown 2020) to create a portrait of their cat to display in their house along side the other. ❤️
A requested grandchild portrait. This took a little more talent than the average portrait as the pictures were sent of both children separately so I had to figure out how I could create a portrait of them both together whilst keeping the proportions right to make it look realistic.
This was a 'just because' drawing. Again, drawn digitally.
Here is my 2nd EVER digital portrait. The detail on those space buns. 😍
I wanted to widen my skills so I invested in a new Samsung tablet and delved into the digital art world. My first request was a double portrait. Considering I'd never drawn on a tablet before it gave me a real buzz the see how realistic it could look.
Here we have an unrequested portrait I created again during lockdown 2020. ❤️
During lockdown 2020, I picked up my pencils again and began creating portraits for family and friends. Here is another Pet Portrait I created which is now proudly displayed in their home. ❤️
Safe to say, after seeing the first Pet Portrait I did, another colleague took a like to my work and also requested a drawing of their dog too. As you can imagine, this really gave me a boost in confidence. I'd gone from drawing at home in a little notepad to creating artwork that people were displaying in their homes. ❤️
One of the 1st Pet Portraits I did for a work colleague back in 2018. Before this I only did my artwork behind closed doors.
It was only when a colleague at the time asked me what my hobbies were to which I replied, "Art, I love drawing and creating things." They asked to see some of my work and then requested a Pet Portrait.
Here was the outcome.

Hi 👋🏻
My name is Sarah Hughes. I have been drawing for a few years now but my passion grew stronger during lockdown 2020 where i created portraits for family and friends. Since then i have been working on my artwork at weekends and evenings after work which is where the inspiration for my brand name came from. I have created my After Arts account to showcase my work and hopefully see many improvements in my own work all in one place.
I hope you stick with me along the way. 🥰
