ASSALA KOFANE: THE BIO

Assala Kofane is a Cameroonian film actor, born in Mbalmayo.

In 2014, he had his first experience as an amateur in front of a camera in the musical comedy “Bella” by William Seugnou.

Eager to develop his art, he became fond of the slightest workshop and master class in acting.

So in 2018, he really started his career in cinema with roles in short films like “Angles” by Frank Thierry Lea Malle, “Neighbor” by Stella Tchuisseu (as part of competition 10 DAYS FOR A FILM organized by the Ecrans Noirs Association in partnership with the Goethe Institute), “Karma” by Laurah Targha and “Into The Den” by Joseph Akama. These last two short films earned him nominations in 2019 and 2021 at the LFC AWARDS in the best actor in a short film category.

His first steps in feature films were in “Octogone” by Omar Sanda, followed by a leading role in “Coup2face” by Oumar Nsangou in 2018.
Then he played roles in “Enterrés” by Françoise Ellong in 2019, “Kankan » by Joseph Akama in 2021 with which he won the award for Best Supporting Actor at the 5th edition of the LFC AWARDS, “Caller ID Unknown” by Konrad Defang in 2022 with which he won the award for Best Lead Actor at the 6th edition of the LFC AWARDS, “Shock” by Song Nestor in 2023 who is about to be released this year 2024.

Always looking for new challenges, Assala Kofane wishes to work in the future on projects that will allow him to further explore and deploy his potential as a film actor...
