It was a very fruitful and eventful time at the rally last Sunday. I spoke to many people from different backgrounds, allegiances, perspectives, faiths, and conclusions.
Some people appreciated the conversations, some didn't, and some just assumed what I represented even before speaking to me.
Someone came up to me and told me I was asking stupid questions (maybe I am), but who knows, the quest is not echo chambers; the quest is truth.
How can we expect the other side to listen and change their views if we are not ready to stand by ours?
Anyway, I got some amazing footage. My last conversation of the day was with a pro-Israeli Jew.

Current events in Palestine has increased throughout the world. Murder of Muslim children, attacks on Muslims women and burning of Muslims establishment has become rampant on the news. States has reignited recycle words and tactics to remind the Muslim of the world Post 9/11. Structural racism and "public safety" racism is now in motion and Muslims throughout the world have developed a fear to voice themselves in fear of livelihood, status and in some jail.
There are however some voices who have emerged and have gave breathing spaces for Muslims to find solace with. In a world where television run media is growing losing their authority, social media has grown as an alternative perspective for people to see the world in different shades, shades which was not available for Muslims post 9/11.
In this Special Live session, we invited Ustaz Noor Deros. A scholar and trail blazer whose full contextual understanding of our current times has proved to give Muslims a true prophetic model in how to survive such times with the power of knowledge and intellect.

THE HUMAN BEING NEEDS TO BELIEVE IN AN UNSEEN.
We look out into the world, and our eyes tell us that the sun is moving up. Though it is possible to reflect that this is not the case, our education teaches us that the land we are on is in rotation.
This education of believing in an unseen "truth" has a component of faith, as we have not seen it for ourselves. It is in the realm of certainty through knowledge.
The indoctrination of our age says that this "faith" in the unseen of the rotation of the earth is the real unseen. There is no other unseen other than the scientific unseen; our unseen is provable by math. So believe, and you will be free from religion.
However, what happens when you do "experience" the rotation of the earth? This unseen becomes experienced, and now there is a need to discover a new unseen; this goes on ad infinitum.
But religion doesn't attempt or bother with these unseen "hows"; it is concerned with the source and its "why". This understanding of the whys creates for us an objective reality of the priorities of our lives. A hierarchy of existence.
Hence, we are able to realise why reproductive organs are essential and not the same as earlobes in the grand scheme of human existence.
The woke liberals disagree; they say there is no difference from the earlobe to the reproductive organs. They are essentially the same.
This is why they say men and women are the same. Why can a father be both a mother and a father be both a mother and a father? This is why there can be two mothers.
When one's unseen is grounded by materialism, such thinking and conclusions become part of the many problematic conclusions.
