Late post. We had a successful hangout-01 session on Feb 11th where we had new members joining Aabea and we are dedicated to help them with trainings and career insights. Our new members are Samiul , Shovon bhai, Baktier bhai, Khalid bhai and Shumon bhai. We are extremely happy to have the new members joining our Aabea sv family Thanks Shohid bhai for joining from EC team.

We are 👌 super excited about our upcoming IT village project and have discussed with another renowned non profit organization of Santa Clara - we like to collaborate with them for another location in Bangladesh for IT village center. So far we were planning the center at Barisal and Comillah. And this third center will be located( if our planning is approved from both parties ) in cox's Bazar and Chittagong region iA. I'm super excited as we discuss these ideas with local organizations for their help and look forward in implementing these ideas into successful projects in order to build IT village center in different locations in Bangladesh.

Pictures from our last EC meeting( DEC 2023) and holiday party @ kabob and curry . We have discussed 2 events for 2024 :
1) AABEA family and friends new years party
Feb 11th @ Mehran Buffet
2) Hardware engineering Seminar and career insights for entry level engineers in hardware engineering career.
Tentative date last weekend of April ( 5 pm to 9 pm)
This will include cultural show from performers in bay area.
This is a formal event.

We have also discussed our ongoing effort about IT village project in Bangladesh. EC plus advising committee has been formed to discuss the feasibility of the project outcome. More details we will share in Feb 11th event .
Thanks to Shimul bhai for organizing the meeting and dinner. And thanks Shimul bhai and team for selecting me( Aziza Rahman) as project lead for IT village project in BD. It was a wonderful time we had plus very effective meeting in terms of getting ideas of different events and projects.
We also welcome Shohid bhai as our new EC member.

The Silicon Valley chapter’s first meetup of 2023 with the new Executive Committee and the BFFs - ‘twas a fantastic exchange of ideas and planning with a focus on the future. Go AABEA-SV 🥳🥳🥳

The American Association of Bangladeshi Engineers and Architects (AABEA) is a non-profit professional organization.
The Silicon Valley Chapter of AABEA hosted a successful event, STIR UP SILICON VALLEY on March 5th, 2022. Here are some highlights from the event.

STIR UP AABEA SILICON VALLEY was a resounding success! Our speakers gave incredible insights about the current and future market trends in the technology and engineering sectors, and our entertainers gave amazing performances that brought the house down.

A big thank you to our speakers last night: Rahima Mohammed, Kawser Jamal, Arshia Sadreddin, Jamshed Rahman, Ken Kabir, Tiku Rahman, Zia Karim, Badrul Sarwar, and Murtajur Rahman. We would also like to thank Jamal Khan for speaking directly to the Bangladeshi engineering and architecture community.

Another thank you goes to our performers: Ananna, Tritone Paradox, and Moyna - a duo of Palbasha and Durjoy.

We also thank BADC, BABA, NABIC, ECHO, SpaandanB, and Jamming Entertainment — bringing all the Bangladeshi community organizations together under one roof showed just how broad the engineering community’s impact is.
