This is my favourite Christmas tree decoration. 🥰 The last few years are the first years I’ve truly been excited about Xmas it’s so nice to be with such a happy and incredible woman that truly appreciates all the little things. I grew up with a pretty weird family that didn’t believe in a lot of what makes the holiday season so special so we never got excited about decorating a Christmas tree etc. It always makes me happy to live those moments that I never got to experience as a kid. Shot and even edited on an iPhone 13 Pro Max it’s crazy trying to test yourself and do all of this without a mirrorless camera. I hated the saying “it’s not about the gear” that’s BS yeah you can take some pretty cool shots with a phone but if you don’t have the proper lens for the job then it’s near impossible to get the results you want.
Think of a telephoto for sports or wildlife or a macro for close up wildlife as an example. An iPhone would be terrible in those situations. I’m getting so excited for my new journey with Sony and waiting for the a7iv to arrive is killing me. Good some super dope tips from .thoonen and his reel on insta. The dream would to one day be as talented 🤙 kershawcovalent

Not having a proper camera is killing me right now! I had to return my R6 mark ii as it kept freezing (2nd one I’d sent back) and I’m now making the switch to Sony. Shot this on my iPhone after I got a new Benchmade bugout mini (my last one went missing) and did my best to make it look like a DSLR or mirrorless with the fake depth of field/blur 😂 definitely not as good as the RAW in a pro camera as the iPhone RAW falls apart quite easily. I was Inspired by the talented .thoonen his works absolutely breathtaking. There’s a reason I only do landscape and wildlife but hey at least I tried 😂

Take me back, been awhile since I’ve been able to road trip and god do I miss it 🥰

It’s so hard to capture how impressive the great ocean road is through photography. The sounds of the crashing waves and the cliffs make you feel so damn small like you’re apart of something much larger than you ever thought! Absolutely love this place and can’t wait to get better so one day I can go back (editing old photos)

I’m 32 years old and only just learnt that we only ever see the same side of the moon 🤦🏼 I thought it spun round and round and we were constantly seeing different sides of it each night.
This is just as bad as when I thought duct tape was duck tape.

When your girlfriend asks for a sub but you didn’t realise she was talking about the sandwich 🤦🏼 that’s a pricey mistake who needs a foot long when you have 295.2 feet. 😂

The most beautiful woman on the planet inside and out! From looking after me when I’ve been bed ridden with my CSF leak to packing me lunches so I don’t eat junk on my road trips to Sydney to see my specialists. She never ceases to amaze me and I don’t know what I’d do without her and she’s already helping me out after I broke my back yesterday ❤️ what an angel 🥰

Can you tell what my favourite colour is? Thank you so much you and d***x are the only people I trust when it comes to protection 😂 bad joke I know. My bearded dragon even crawled all over it and it still stayed scratch free!

My EOS R just got a little brother 🥰 it’s not often I get a new Camera but the EOS R6 mark ii seemed like a decent enough upgrade. The autofocus is leagues ahead of my old camera, for anyone thinking about upgrading especially for the video side of things I’d do it!

I don’t normally do black and white but for this shot I felt like it was fitting. I’m really stoked with where I’ve gotten and I’m sure if I showed my younger self the shots I’m producing now he’d be proud. One of the best decisions I ever made was picking up a camera and it’s completely changed my life ❤️
