Early update from me.
Everything going well, finding my feet slowly whilst try not to do too much.
Wounds are healing nicely and almost in part all sealed up. Leg is going much slower than i would hope to be honest.
Going stir crazy, but then to tired to actual care!!
Lots of mid sentence sleeping, or as i call them "instant Grandad naps!"

This week Malcolm had been invited to join in with the Press Day of RNLI and Airfix to celebrate the launch of the new starter set featuring the Shannon Class Lifeboat.

The group received a tour of the facilities including a look through the factory where the Shannon Class lifeboat was made from scratch. We also were shown the simulator and the pool where new lifeguards are trained and put through their paces.

The kit looks stunning as a beginner's offering with the early career modeller in mind. It also contains the paints you need, including an Orange.

...Not an actual Orange.

Further updates... After coming out of hospital following not one, not two, but three heart bypass operations, James missed it so much he went back in for a day or two.

Consequently James is now home and under strict instructions to rest and recover. Thank you all for the continued campaign of kind messages - Malcolm.
