Lectio divina means “divine reading”, or “sacred reading”, in Latin. It’s a way of prayer that promotes communion with God and increases one’s knowledge of the Word of God. Lectio divina does not treat Scripture as a text to be studied; but as the living Word – to be embraced, loved, and lived out in one’s life.
Lectio divina also happens to be an amazing way to prepare for Eucharist, which as you know is the "source and summit of the Christian life" (CCC 1324-1327). Join us this week as we delve into John 11: 3-7, 17, 20-27, 33b-45.
