For most of us, our relationships with our brothers and sisters are the longest lasting of our lives, sometimes spanning 80 or 90 years. Sibling relationships come before friendships or romances, and usually outlive any links with our parents. Incredibly, you can share as little as 37.4% of your DNA with your brother or sister, or as much as 61.7% – meaning you could be more like cousins… or more

We find out about their maternal grandfather, John James, who was a plate layer for Great Western Railway in Cardiganshire.

Thanks to Findmypast - Pastor Mick Fleming and Sarah Frankel find out about their ancestor, William Fleming, and his motorcycle/pedestrian accident in 1933 - one of the earliest cases of "drunk driving".

An article from the 20th May quotes the testimony of witnesses: “You said that he smelled of beer. Might it have been steak pie? - No.” 🥧
