Our newest engaging and relevant student activity is our Music/Song Analysis Choice Board! 🎵🎶😎

This document can be used as either a gallery walk for in person instruction or a virtual activity with a link to a presentation where students can navigate through the different music genres and choose different songs for analysis. There are 4 main categories: country, pop, rap, and rock. Each genre has a list of songs they can choose from (images included). They are asked to write a summary of the song, identify and prove tone and mood, identify and prove theme, identify figurative language, and reflect/make a personal connection to the song.

It’s been a while since I sat down and forced myself to do something that I love—read, but I am so glad I did. This book is amazing! I read it in two sittings. I couldn’t put it down. Highly recommend this novel! Sometimes you have to treat your self! ❤️ Have a great Sunday!
