HEIDELBERG UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB OFFICIAL ANNOUNCMENT
The Board of Directors and Football Executive announce the departure of long-time coach George Katsakis.
After more than 350 games at the helm in a stint spanning over a decade, Heidelberg United FC went through a thorough due process review and have made the hard decision to not reappoint George for the 2024 year.
George will go down in the club’s history as its longest serving coach, having led the club through arguably its most successful era.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank George and the Katsakis family for their contribution to Heidelberg United FC, Megas Alexandros, and wish him every possible success in his future endeavours.
George and the extended Katsakis family will always be respected, acknowledged and part of the HUFC Family.

The teams are as follows-
Afghanistan, Albania, Australia, Eritrea, France, Greece, Iraq, Italy, Mauritius, Republic of North Macedonia , Serbia, Somalia, South Sudan, Spain, Turkey, Zimbabwe.
The tournament kicks off on the 14th of October. The group draws will be made next week on the 29th September.
