Social Tag rugby has re-started for the 3rd time!!
Every Wednesday and Saturday near to Rotterdam Central station.
Its free during summer and as always, new comers are welcome, no worries if you've never even heard of tag rugby, we'll give you a quick intro and you'll be up and running in no time.

Tag rugby sessions are fully back up and running, every Wednesday and Saturday near to Rotterdam Centraal station. We're getting at least 14 people every time so enough for a 7-a-side game plus subs.
As always, new comers are welcome, no worries if you've never even heard of tag rugby, we'll give you a quick intro and you'll be scoring epic tries in no time.
Good news.........all sports are permitted again from 1 July so we are back on!
When - Wednesday 1 July 2020 from 18:45 until we are too tired.
Where - Field next to Henegouwerplein. Henegouwerplein 14, 3021 AB Rotterdam
As always, everyone is welcome even if you've never played before, we can teach you the rules. We will bring hand sanitiser. Please do not come if you have COVID-19 symptoms. Any questions, send us a message.
Bring plenty of water! We will probably head to the Holy Smoke afterwards for beers and burgers.
The inevitable announcment, tag rugby is cancelled for the next 2 weeks at least due to Corona virus.
BUT if you're stuck at home and want something to look forward to when this is all over then send us a message and we can add you to the WhatsApp group so that you will know as soon as we start up again.
A nice session last night with tasty tasty burgers at Holy Smoke afterwards and a great playlist and speaker from Andrew. Not a drop of rain for the first time in a long time AND it was still light when we started. Looking forward to the warmer evenings ahead!

During February and March we ask for €4 per session on Wednesdays to cover the cost of pitch rental, from April we will move to the Saturday location which is free.

Tag rugby is a mixed-sex, non contact version of rugby. We play a game with rolling substitutes for the full 1.5 hours. Don’t be put off if you’ve never played before, it’s super easy to pick up. Women score 2 points for every try meaning less macho glory points and more of a team effort. We normally get enough for 7 a-side plus a few subs.

Don’t be put off if you’ve never played before, it’s super easy to pick up and we don’t take it too seriously. Women score 2 points for every try meaning less macho glory points and more of a team effort.
It’s helpful to wear football or rugby boots with plastic studs but you’ll also be fine without.
