Join us in solidarity with our classified staff of Lee County. Classified staff members are asking for transparency and simplification in their pay-rates, a pay-scale based on years of service, and a pay increase.
Last week the turnout to the school board meeting was AWESOME - but we know the commissioners hold the purse strings. Join us in showing just how many of their constituents support our classified staff's requests!

Helene was the most devastating storm NC has ever seen and there is a long recovery ahead for Western North Carolina. Next week, legislators should invest billions of dollars in WNC recovery instead of locking in billions for private school vouchers.

Special thanks to the candidates that marched with us, and to Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. - Kappa Theta Zeta Chapter for joining us this morning!
