This November 30, 2023, the Santa Barbara National Comprehensive High School Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) club, together with the KPSEP club, joins in celebrating the 2023 Filipino Values Month with the theme "MATATAG na Edukasyon, MATATAG na Karakter Moral: Kaakibat ng Magandang Kinabukasan ng Bawat Pilipino."

We express our sincere appreciation for the Kahilwayan dancers for participating in our Filipino Values Month. Your beautiful performance not only showcased the richness of our culture but also added a vibrant spirit to our celebration of Filipino values. Additionally, we express our profound appreciation to our esteemed guest speaker, Dioso Camago Serena. Your insightful and inspiring speech has left an indelible mark on our hearts and minds. Your presence has truly enriched our celebration, and we are deeply thankful for the wisdom and inspiration you imparted.

BKD and KPSEP, job well done! Our teamwork has made this celebration of Filipino values a resounding success.

Life's Journey Teen Center, in collaboration with Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD), facilitated a symposium about "Youth and Drugs: Alcohol and Substance Abuse Among Adolescents," held last November 8, 2023 in SBNCHS Alumni Hall. Participants are the Grade 10 STE and SPA students, BKD officers and Teen Center peer helpers. The symposium was conducted by the BS Psychology students of the University of San Agustin Iloilo. The resource speaker.was Miss Leobe H. Java.
