Found a little friend in the orchard this morning…an Eastern red bat! Just minding his own business when Gordon came along and almost picked him like a peach! Needless to say, it was a shock for both sides. 😆🦇

Fun Farm Fact: It's prime time for ! If they aren't quite ripe, leave them stem-side down on your counter until they're ready to eat. Once they're ripe, put them in the refrigerator. They'll keep that peak ripeness for 2-3 days. And always buy WV grown peaches!

We've got tons of big, beautiful Lorings this week! Freshly picked just yesterday and WOW are they DELICIOUS. Shorty gave 'em two thumbs up and he's an expert! We couldn't do it without our crew. 😍🍑❤️

NEW THIS WEEK! Check out our gorgeous Satsuma plums, sometimes called the "blood plum" due to its deep red flesh. Excellent flavor and so, so pretty! We'll have them at both the Charles Town Farmers Market, WV and the Shepherdstown Farmers Market this weekend. 🙂❤️

Excited to report that we'll have DONUT PEACHES this weekend, as well as something new...OZARK PLUMS! These juicy plums are known for their sweet flavor and firm flesh and are great for cooking, canning, or eating fresh! We'll have our beautiful Santa Rosa plums, too. We lost this variety to frost last year, but this season they are absolutely THRIVING! 😍💜
