Happy Father's Day to all the fathers who let their kids tinker with tools. I needed a table saw and a belt sander and my dad showed me how to use them this weekend for this bookcase project.
All journeys begin with the not too small step of sanding the crap out of something after using paint stripper, am I right? 😅
Hopefully turning this radiator cover and these dresser drawer fronts into a bookcase in the near future. 🤞

This project was completed using wood I just had lying around from previous projects.
My new planter will be added to my patio tomorrow with dirt and planted seeds for morning glories and moon flowers.

It's a holiday weekend, so I decided to paint some stuff and get projects moving again. Here are parts for two side tables and one coat rack.

This project has been moving forward in fits and starts! I picked up this cute little cart from and have been trying to give it a ever since. It came to me half sanded and whatever finish it had on it previously must be the strongest known to man! 😅

I got these two side tables off of earlier this year. The beautiful pattern was falling off and so these will require some before being with new stain and paint.

I knew this old radiator cover was meant to be a as soon as I saw it during moving sale.
We removed some of the metal bits no longer required and used to remove the rust. Now with just a little sanding, cleaning and painting, it'll be ready for its next stage in life!
