Hi, we are Korunds.
Founded at the beginning of the second Austrian COVID lockdown in autumn 2020, we have worked out several tracks since then and we have recorded four of them in our rehearsal space. Now is the time to present them to the public.
All instruments were recorded live, loud, and simultaneously.
All vocals were recorded as overdubs afterwards.
Korund is German for corundum, which is a frequently occuring mineral. Chemically speaking it is Al2O3. Corundum is defined to have 9.0 on the Mohs scale of mineral hardness.
Korunds are:
Klaus Hämmerle - lead vocals, baritone guitar
Sacha Gorbach – bass guitar, vocals
Gilbert Medwed – drums, vocals, recording, mixing, mastering
