It's not official until it's FB official--I have made the decision to close my bakery indefinitely and work full time with the Here4TheKids movement--an educational movement confronting global systems of oppression--which started as a movement to ban guns.

Cakes and macarons are great--but they personally feel less important than saving our kids. My kids. Your kids. ALL kids.

PSA: I don’t often do kids cakes. Especially character cakes.

I did a lot of them when I was first starting out, but to be honest, the designs are not usually my style and often lack creativity.

That being said—I will totally squeeze them in if they have fun elements, or allow me to be creative with texture and design.

This Charizard cake fit the bill! Loved getting to create this fun “grown up” design for a Pokémon loving 7 year old.
