Sakura Agate (also known as Flower or Cherry Blossom Agate) is a recent find out of Madagascar and is an opaque chalcedony with inclusions that resemble teeny flowers. Sakura is said to bridge the gap between emotions and reality and it does this by connecting our heart and root chakras together.

Today's crystal is....LEPIDOLITE.
It is truly a gorgeous and sparkly crystal that is a type of mica and rich in lithium which gives it its broad spectrum of cotton candy colours. It's believed to be effective in helping relieve stress and release worries and is useful for people battling feelings of depression - Lepidolite allows the individual to actually FEEL their emotions rather than avoiding or resisting them. Hello everyone!
So I've been really not doing too good with this entire social media thing...
To be quite honest with you - I've been holding back. Not gunna lie, I'm terrified that the shop won't do well or that my art won't do well...so what do I do instead of just putting myself out there??? I hide...because it's easier to not do anything at all then risk disappointment and failure. At least...that's what I tell myself. But I've come to the realization that this is just not the case. If I don't do anything I will just be exactly where I am...which is right here. But if I do put myself out there...hey, it might be better...and if not, no worse off than now, right?

SO I made a promise to myself that I am going to start sharing more...and just going for it.

So...stay tuned for some more posts. Mostly about what the ETSY shop has to offer...which are crystals and crystal pendants. I am thinking about expanding into custom wine glasses. Some stuff that you just don't see out there...we will see! The art will remain on my instagram page ( .illustration ) I am really doing some soul searching when it comes to my artwork. I've not been very authentic when it comes to creating...for fear that it won't do well (fear keeps popping up, eh?).
So yea...that's enough of my rambling.
And I will be posting more on here...more new things, more rambling...just a little community of interesting metaphysical things and just a place where I can try and lift myself up and others along the way too.

This piece is a Botryoidal Agate - this one is not for sale...because I fell in love with it instantly and spent a little too much on this piece. LOL. Hey, if it's meant to be yours it's meant to be yours!

I drew this piece below when I was away up North...drinking copious amounts of coffee. I have come to the realization...that i can't function without it! LOL. so coffee definitely is my "morning potion" - what's yours?

I've been MIA as I've been sorting through and organizing inventory. A tun of new crystals are going to be uploaded to the shop soon. Lot's of gorgeous fluorite towers, an agate obelisk, so many lab cutbases and more. Here Lou'e is showcasing some of the vugs (which I call Fairy Caves) as well as a fluorite tower (we were in the middle of a photoshoot). What are some of your favourite crystals?

The gorgeous Eklatekla - this was a really fun piece to create. I had a hard time with the second arm/hand so I decided to omit it entirely and was worried that it wouldn't be seamless but I think it looks good! What do you guys think? Also - played around with the chromatic aberration feature on Procreate 5x. That was also out of my comfort zone but love the final outcome.

The symbol in this piece is the Merkabah; a Hebrew word meaning chariot but when phonetically broken down (from an Ancient Egyptian translation) means “light, body, spirit”.
The Merkabah is an ancient geometric symbol; a shape made of two intersecting tetrahedrons that spin in opposite directions which then creates a 3-dimensional energy field. This energy field is said to provide protection and transportation towards higher consciousness into higher dimensions. It combines opposing energies (masculine/feminine, earth/cosmos) in perfect balance and also reminds us of the potential power we ourselves yield when we find balance and raise our vibration. ..........
