Hi everyone! Thanks for all the love this week! We are closing from Wednesday through Sunday this week to give our staff a much needed camping trip!! This beautiful weather we are finally getting is something to be enjoyed and we are excited to get to take a break and bask in the beauty of our Alaskan summer for a few days. We will be back open on Monday!

Hi everyone! We’re having a few setbacks this morning so we will be open at 1pm today instead of our normal noon. Thanks Homer!

I want to thank all our Bahn Mi fans out there today because we have reached an awesome milestone of having sold 1500 Bahn Mi from PikaPika Bento’s little kitchen. This sandwich has been a real inspiration and motivator for me since learning to make them in Vietnam and eating them almost every day if I could. Thank you to our customers and especially the fervent fans of our version of this sandwich, we love you probably more than you love the sandwich 😎

Also on a separate note, we will be closed tomorrow, Friday the 23rd, due to a mix of a catering job across town and some of our families visiting from out of town. We will be back on Saturday the 24th! Thanks everybody!

We’re experiencing a propane issue today so we had to close unexpectedly around 2pm today. We will be back Monday at noon with full tanks to serve up delicious food for Memorial Day. If you are looking for a tasty treat today, come down to Odin Mead and enjoy the wood fired oysters special that is being cooked in the Brick Mouse oven. See you there or see you tomorrow!

The sun is out and we are celebrating with a new special! Hi Homer!
We may have met before but for those who don’t know us, we are Pikapika Bento! We serve delicious Japanese and a few twists on Southeast Asian cuisine out of our shiny 1959 Falcon Airstream! We are located at Grace Ridge Brewing on Smokey Bay Way in downtown Homer and we have absolutely loved being a new favorite spot for the locals of our town.
This is not a farewell end-of-summer post! We are taking a few days off this week for a private catering event and a staff birthday/camping trip, but we are all planning to keep serving our faithful and loyal customers and any new ones into the fall and possibly the early winter! We will be back open on Monday the 26th and we will keep it going until the winter drives us out!

It’s Friday so the dumplings are back! We prep all week to have enough gyoza dumplings for the weekend and we’re so proud of our little beauties! Come down to Grace Ridge Brewing and pair them with a delicious beer!

Our ramen special is what you need to warm up from the chill and rain! Noodles made to order sitting in a deliciously smokey Mala beef broth, made with Sichuan and Calabrian peppers and topped with a perfect steamed egg, scallions, and an option of miso pork at no extra charge. We are very proud to be frontrunning the ramen emergence in Homer and we hope it will become one of your many favorites this fall and winter. $12 rain or shine! Japanese Curry also available today!

Come and check out the Fundraiser tonight at Grace Ridge Brewing for the Alaska World Arts Festival! We will be closing early to leave lots of room and customers for the event while we get started on our preparation for our delicious Ramen special tomorrow! Enjoy the fundraiser and a beer and we will hopefully see you tomorrow, lots of Ramen in Homer’s future from PikaPika Bento!

Hi everyone!! We will be closing a little early today at 4pm so that we can celebrate our 3 month anniversary of being open with a staff party!! We so appreciate all the love you have shown us and we are so grateful to our wonderful little town. We will be back to our normal schedule tomorrow and we excited to show you all our new fall menu items next month! We will stay open as long as we can this year, so fingers crossed for a long sunny fall and early winter!

Our Sunday special of Japanese Chicken Curry has earned its fixed spot on our menu! We are firing on two fronts today!! PikaPika Bento and Brick Mouse Pizza will both be running this afternoon at Grace Ridge Brewing, with Pizzas running from 2-7pm or until the dough balls run out! The smells alone today will be worth the visit!

Hi Homer! We are loving being a favorite spot and we can’t wait to keep it going! This is a PSA to our regular customers and curious visitors alike that we are closing Monday through Wednesday this week (20th-22nd) this week to cater a private wedding AND an anniversary party in separate locations. We will be back at Grace Ridge Brewing on Thursday to resume our regularly scheduled service. Thanks for all the love so far and we are loving all the new friends we are making. See you on Thursday!

Korean street tacos have been there for us when we needed them, so now Pikapika Bento is going to bring them to you when you need them too. Sweet heat ground beef bulgogi, kimchi slaw, pickled red onions and red Serrano, these tacos will be right at home in our menu. Serving hot on weekdays through the summer, come and pair it with a beer at Grace Ridge Brewing! 12-8 everyday except closed Wednesdays.
