Little Orabs Preschool students graduated from a successful year of learning and growing. Congratulations, preschool class of 2024!

You are invited to celebrate the Little Orabs Preschool Class of 2024 on Thursday May 23, at 6:00 PM in the Sheldon High School Auditorium!

Sheldon Community Schools are beginning the process of registering students who plan to attend kindergarten or transitional kindergarten at East Elementary in the fall of 2024. In order to qualify, students must turn five on or before September 15, 2024.

If your child attends a Preschool in Sheldon, registration packets will be sent home. If your child does not attend a Preschool in Sheldon, stop in the East Elementary office to pick up a registration packet. Please register at your earliest convenience, so we can have adequate time to provide for our district’s needs.

Preschool students at Little Orabs Preschool are doing a Transportation Study this week. Students took a field trip to the school's bus barn to learn about where the buses stay, get cleaned, and how they work!

Preschool students visited a farm this week to for their Farm Study!

Students were able to see, pet, and even hold various animals such at goats, cows, and pigs.

The Little Orabs Preschool AM and PM classes visited Fields of Fun today for some fun pumpkin learning!

Preschool students are learning about Mat Man this week and how to draw people! They listened to the song and worked together to build their own Mat Man.
They did such a great job!

We have some very excited students ready for Kindergarten and TK.

Preschool students focused on all things Zoo this week in their centers and learning! The zoo animal sensory table and zoo number path game, were some of the students favorite activities this week. The students loved getting to learn more about some of their favorite animals that they would see at the zoo.

If you have a preschool student, ask them what their favorite zoo animal is!

Preschool students were dreaming of summer during their camping study last week! They went on a bear hunt, roasted marshmallows over a fire, and created caves for forest animals. Such a fun week at Little Orabs Preschool.

Students at Little Orabs Preschool enjoy doing different activities during free play. Today one of the activity choices was painting. These two students had so much fun creating their masterpiece.

The rain and cool weather won't stop our kids from getting some activity during recess!

Our preschool building has a perfect open area for our students to do recess activities inside.

Braelynn and Miss Brittany are ready to cheer on the Hawks later today!

The Dinosaur learning continues!

Students practiced matching the dinosaur shadow to the correct dinosaur on the smart board. Students have loved getting to use the smartboard for some interactive learning activities!
