Here's my oldest friend looking stunning!!!
I'm much better at sharing over on the Instagram.
Coming to a pair of ears near you soon!
This March I'll be doing a drop of all original designs. Stay tuned for more details.
Thought I should show my chipper little self. It's been awhile since I've done a selfie. I mostly wanted to show off my fringe earrings I made using gorgeous pattern (the creator asks for only Indigenous artists to use)
First set with my candy coloured beads!! Traditional materials (porcupine quills, tanned leather) were used in the making of these yummy dangly earrings.
Available, link in bio ☺️
Feeling a bit traditional with this new pair of earrings. Love these wooden cabs, I have a few more like this that I'm saving for a rainy day.
Find this pair on my website.
Fresh off the bead tray!! More hearts, this time with tassels 🤩
Will be uploaded soon to my shop.
Friends in the Ottawa area.
I can't share much of my new projects until after Christmas 😅 so here's a reminder to sign your beadwork!
I did it, I applied to a few artist grants. I'm hoping an artist organization sees something in my artistic vision.
Spent the morning working on a grant proposal. Which is mostly about talking yourself up to complete anonymous strangers.
It's true what they say, "you are your own worst critic."
Took a little bit for the kit to arrive but once it did I really sank my teeth into this project.
Thanks to for teaching me another super cool way to play with my beads.
And of course thanks to for hosting this amazing group.

Beaded Glow in the Dark dangles pink These gorgeous pink earrings are made with Glow in the Dark size 11s along with a mix of neon and metallic size 11s, pink sparkly cabachon, faux pearl laden banding, vinyl backing, assorted sequins to build flowers, and hypo allergenic gold plated hooks. Approximately 9cm (3.5in) in length
A quick set showing off some beautiful glow in the dark beads I received. Traded some of my porcupine quills for these beauties. Swipe left to see them glow 🌟
To come up with the design of my recent medallion I got to rewatch Man in the Wilderness a couple times. I captured still frames for source material, and worked up a sketch and my palette.
I had fun working with hide, as my usual projects are on pellon/felt.
I really love the conversations I had with the recipient; talking about the religious symbolism and the making of the film.
I highly recommend watching this movie, it is well done and Google allows an HD stream which is just gorgeous. If you've seen The Revenant you should see the original.
Fresh medallion heading to the post this morning. 😁

Got down to business and finished Áoife's moccasins. I started these back in like September with SBI bead group.
I'm so happy I made them big, I don't think she'll be wearing these long.
Even though it was my baby's birthday, I also got a present.
My yearly tradition of beading my daughter a headband for her birthday.
The last couple of weeks has been filled with love and family as we celebrate her birthday and get ready for Halloween.
Constructed with various size beads, sequins, banding, acrylic cabs, leather backing and ribbon.
Thank you to Jennifer and Sally for their purchases over this campaign. Donations have been made to both The Orange Shirt Society and the Indian Residential School Survivors Society totaling $25.50 each.
Every Child Matters
We cannot forget what the survivors and the legacy they endured.
Well we made it two years before we got hit with the plague. My brain felt like it was boiling for a week, but we're on the other side of it.
I haven't touched any of my beading or prepped anything to mail for fear of sharing. Now that we're no longer symptomatic I will be shipping everything out this Monday and making my donations to IRSSS and the OSS same day.
Thank you for your patience and your support.
Getting myself ready for my Tiktok live. 😉 I'll admit I'm pretty excited.
Protect your wrists! Remember to warm your mitts up with some stretches, and use whatever aids you in creating your art. Embroidery hoops are the bee's knees!
A medallion of Nicki Minaj I made for a dear friend, based on their artwork.
Starting to daydream about an eagle medallion.
Last night in my nehiyaw class I learned about how different dialects switch the use of mikisiw and kihew for golden eagle and the bald eagle. Cree is such an amazing language.
Tansi nîtôtem!
