: IN THE EVENT OF ECOWAS MILITARY ACTION IN NIGER REPUBLIC AND WHAT TO EXPERIENCE

Information reaching to me has it that ECOWAS is "BATTLE READY" for military action against Niger Military rule. And this is coming after the us secretary general Anthony Blinken is said to have called the ECOWAS Chairman President Tinubu for the second time.

: I've advised that the military action in Niger Republic is NOT the best and equally proffered alternative solution (check out on my timeline), but Should ECOWAS insist on military action in Niger Republic, below are things to expect:

1. It will be an extension of Russia Ukraine war on Africa soil in the absence of Ukrainian Soldiers, but with western nations as the propelling forces. In order words, Africa through ECOWAS, ign0rantly and stup!dly layed down their soil as a battle ground for the economic conquest of the World Super Powers.

2 They (the ECOWAS in their military action) will likely succeed in sacking the military junta and installing a lawless society giving birth to full fledge terrorism . No need emphasizing about what Niger Republic in particular will be like; just imagine a war zone.

3. You see both US, France and all the western sources of natural resources interests in Africa, they will surely suffer huge damage with Nigeria as the biggest economic casualty.
: The war will not be a war to defend Niger Republic or AFRICA , it will be a war of Economic conquest with Africa bearing the consequences of the wreckage.

4. : There will be heavy bombardments and overwhelmed wreckage and destructions on African mineral resources export roots with Nigeria as a peculiar target.

5. Many will be surprised how the war in Niger Republic is being felt in Southern parts of Nigeria with massive destructions, though with little or no foot Soldiers. But nothern Nigeria will feel it more in Nigeria.

6. Nigeria Airspace may NOT be officially declared no flight ✈️ zone, but will be practically unsafe.

7. Uncertainty will overwhelm Tinubu's faith as Nigeria President. Protests against Tinubu will be very intense, and he may even have NO say over the decision on Ecowas at such point.

8. Russia will have the chances of sustaining the war on Ukraine for a long time as various aides from NATO member nations to Ukraine will suffer noticeable set back.

9. Africa will be the biggest loser if ECOWAS opt for military action in Niger Republic, but will be the biggest winner of Russia Ukraine war if they declined the war with Nigeria profiting the most.

The bitter truth about the looming war in Niger Republic as ECOWAS prepares for military action in Niger Republic is that non of the factions in the entire scenerio have the interest of the people of NIGER REPUBLIC at heart.

What ALL of them are simply doing is showcasing a fanciful reason as a driving force for their actions which only services their various interests without the primary interest of the people of Niger Republic and Africa at large.

The pathetic faction in the entire scenerio is the ECOWAS who ought to read the entire development and understand that the west are simply looking for a legal platform through which they can drive their self-serving interest towards the collective doom of Africa.

I expect ECOWAS to be more strategic in all these and see the possibility of gaining business wise from both Russia and Europe/ the Western nations without injuring Niger their brother.

Some have equally praised Russia involvement; though plausible but obviously praised out to proportion. Sometimes I ask:
Question: Did the injustice against the people of Niger Republic start today?
Ans: No

Question: Was Russia not existing all these years and have been seeing it without interventions?
Ans: Ofcouse they've been seeing it since yesteryears and did nothing until now that their interest has to be protected.

Question: How come the sudden love of Russia for the Africa and particularly Niger Republic? Ans: Firstly , Niger was never in love with Russia ab initio. Infact Niger voted in support of the sanctions against Russia over the Ukraine invasion. The only friendly African countries friendly to Russia before now were South Africa, Morocco, Egypt and Mali. But with the current scenerio, the dynamics are changing.

So now, the reason for glaring Russia love for Niger Republic is because, Russia is currently in dare need of economic relationship as their currency rouble continues to fall against the dollar in the past 16 month to as low as 100rouble to 1 dollar against the earlier 60rouble to 1dollar. More so, Russia on the other hand is equally determined to suffocate EUROPE and NATO member nations with scarcity of some pertinent mineral resources which are available in Africa particularly in Niger Republic and Nigeria. Nigeria is inclusive here because the Natural Gas needed by the European is actually located in southern Nigeria and the pipeline project is currently ongoing in Nigeria but has to pass through Niger Republic, Algeria up to European countries. Unfortunately, Niger Republic have said NO to such project....

Question: Do Russia need Africa mineral resources?
Ans: The answer can not be NO. Because someone MUST pay for the Russian military supports to Niger (irrespective of how Russia may make the support look free) as well as the services of the Wagner group. And of course Niger Republic will pay for them and possibly through mineral resources.

But the truth is that the Russia major interest in Africa at the moment is not centered for extortion of African mineral resources but for Africa to play their script of frustrating Europe and NATO member nations from accessing those mineral resources needed by them to enhance their power source, nuclear plants and and other highly sophisticated weapons. And also for Russia to have more economic outreaches to other continents, considering the already sanctions against them by UN due to Ukraine invasion.

Question: What better alternative plan do Russia have in helping Africa or even Niger to be truly independent and self sufficient?
Ans: ...UNDEFINED...

Well the comprehensive right answers to all the above questions and even many other questions will be another time, but at the moment, Russia is primarily involved in African affair and particularly in Niger Republic as a result of Russia interest as I said above; to suffocate EUROPE and member nations who has been aiding Ukraine with numerous supports.

What Russia is simply trying to achieve is to perfect their premeditated economic/mineral resources (Natural Gas as well as Uranium) blockade to Europe and NATO member nations.

It's a known fact that in abscess of any access to some pertinent mineral resources, it will be nearly impossible for Europe, NATO as well as Ukraine to win a war against Russia.

Another question: Is Russia economy truly suffocating?

Some believes that Russia is loosing so much financially from various sanctions against them as well as the damaged Nord stream1 Russia Europe gas pipeline. But the truths are:
The sanctions against Russia are real and the effect is not a child's play. However, Russia seem to be surviving it through various mean. Their alliance with some other countries to continue patronizing Russia economy and now the recent Russian African Summit to promote economic transactions across board.

On the part of the Nord stream1, it takes a measure of insight to understand that it's of great advantage to Russia to loose the financial gain in supplying gas to Europe and equally ensuring that the entire Europe gets more occupied and suffocated with the scarcity of some pertinent mineral resources like natural gas as well as Uranium, than for Europe to access them. In a simpler understanding, Should Russia succeed in achieving that, then they have successfully achieved what Nigerian government archived during Biafra war when the policy of food blockade was initiated against the Biafrans.

Just like Nigeria government then, suffocating the Briafrans with scarcity of food was a great weapon much more important to Nigeria than the financial gain in importing/supplying food to the region.

Therefore, the success of Russia involvement in Africa affairs and particularly in Niger Republic is primarily for their own interests and aimed at checkmating/suffocating the NATO Supportive strength to Ukraine through a tactical global perculair economic blockade to Europe.

Now, who should be the Chief benefitiaries of the ongoing Global Supper Power tussle between Russia vs NATO via Ukraine?

Of course Africa is well positioned to benefit greatly, but unfortunately they are trying to divert the battlefield to Africa and our leaders seem not to comprehend it. As things is now, Europe are doing everything possible to survive without Russia economy but the task is not an easy one. They moved on to Australia to source for natural gas, and even with the issuficient supply, Australia gas have surged up and workers currently warning for strike action. So Africa remains their best alternative but here comes Russian Putin the master of blockade.

In Russia efforts to perfect the plans, Russia have declared military supports and believed to have mobilized the Wagner group to Niger.

And likewise France, US are all warming up for military action in Niger only waiting for ECOWAS to lay a legal platform for them to step in.

NOW WHAT NIGERIA AND OTHER AFRICA LEADERS NEEDS TO DO:
Seeing that both Russia and the Western Nations have dealt with each other a heavy blow, it's now left for Africa avoid the temptation of allowing Africa as a battle ground, but take advantage of the situations to reap bountifully by doing the following.
1. Opt for diplomatic approach in Niger Republic AGAINST military action with the sole aim of pleasing the interest of the indigenous people of Niger Republic and Africans NOT foreign nations.
2. Demand for complete exit of all the non African military bases anywhere in Africa. Meaning that both US, France, Russia etc should return to their various countries. All their military bases in Africa never stopped insecurity nor insurgency. Those military bases are just self-serving for themselves.... Therefore LET THEM GO!
3. Declare African economy OPEN for all nations void of enslavement cm monopolistic Policy influence of other nations.
4. Any bilateral trade agreement or MOU with any nation must not see Africa on a weaker side of the bargain.
5. Utmostly consider trades and bilateral agreement that promotes Africa towards self reliance and self sufficient!

Following some falsehoods being peddled on social media platforms by some scaremongers and hired hirelings, painting negative security situations in Nsukka Local Government Area, the Chairman of the council, Bar. Cosmas Ibeziako Ugwueze has warned the detractors to desist from such act and always verify their information before peddling them to the public.

In a statement, he issued and signed yesterday, Hon. Ugwueze said:
"The attention of Nsukka Local Government Council has been drawn to a false alarm capable of incalculable damage to the peace and security of lives and property in Nsukka Local Government and of course Enugu State, being circulated on the social media platforms, precisely Facebook by one David Ani, an Indigene of Nkerefi, Nkanu East Local Government Area, who is known to be hiding under the pseudo name of Odogwu na Nkanu to circulate untruths and create panic.

The statement further read:
" According to him, in a post titled "Happening now" there is Gun battle between the team of ESN and military personnel and the military personnel removing their uniform".

"Not done with his large appetite for purveying falsehoods, he went on in another post to claim that "28 soldiers , 19 Fulani herdsmen down in Nsukka, Enugu State
last night".

"We have the responsibility of informing the general public that there was and there is no presence of ESN anywhere in Nsukka Local Government Area and there is no incident involving Nigeria Army, or Fulani herdsmen in any part of the council area.

"The general public is hereby advised to go about their normal businesses without fear as Nsukka local government is peaceful and calm.

" David Ani and his co-travelers are hereby advised to be more factual and reticent in their public posts and comments as they are capable of causing panic and serious security problems, not only in Nsukka, but in Enugu as well".

COVID-19 ASTERAZENICA VACCINE: NSUKKA MAYOR TAKES THE LEAD BEING THE FIRST TO RECEIVE THE JAB IN THE ENTIRE COUNCIL.

It was a sincere display of an exemplary leadership at its peak in Nsukka Local Government Area as the Council Mayor Hon Barrister Cosmas Ibeziako Ugwueze took the lead, being the first to receive the Coronavirus vaccine in the entire council.

It is of noteworthy that the Mayor has before now shown his passion towards the life and good health of the people of the council through various means such as; partnering with the health policies of the state government as well as his various interventions on primary healthcare. Of which he recently toppled Yellow fever and silenced it to a perpetual hostage through the recent vaccination. The Mayor again has today Monday 22nd March 2021 embraced the long awaited Astrazenica jab; the "biological bullet proof" against Coronavirus ushering a great hope to topple the Coronavirus like the sibling yellow fever.

On receiving the vaccine at the council health centre with some of his aides and council officials lead by the Chief of Staff Hon Chijioke Ugwu, he expressed his joy and satisfaction with the vaccination, encouraging the general public to embrace the vaccine without fear. Noting that the vaccine is a welcome development, well handled by the highly skilled and professional health workers of the council who are well trained and prepared to wage war against the ugly head of the long ravaging Coronavirus global pandemic using the Astrazenica vaccine.

He equally expressed his profound gratitude to his Excellency Governor Ifeanyi Lawrence Ugwuanyi for his various proactiveness and nonpareil quest towards primary healthcare, which has always placed the council and the State at large on a green light of healthy living.

It could be recalled that the mayor Hon Cosmas Ibeziako Ugwueze who takes passion in following the footsteps of his Excellency Governor Ugwuanyi, once mooted his readiness to be the first to receive the vaccine 6 days ago just like his boss the Governor. And in keeping to his words, the Mayor has today through the acceptance of the jab revived the confidence of many on the health sector of the council.

Enugu govt commences first flyover bridge project located at Nike Lake/T-Junction

*Closes road, midnight of Monday, March 8

*Announces five designated route diversions

The administration of Governor Ifeanyi Lawrence Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, has formally announced commencement of the first ever flyover bridge project by the state government, located at the intractable Abakpa Nike/Nike Lake/T-Junction road, in Enugu East Local Government Area of the state, on Tuesday, March 9, 2021.

Speaking when he inspected the project site’s readiness for work commencement, alongside the Commissioners for Works and Infrastructure and Housing, Engr. Greg Nnaji and Hon. Vitus Okechi respectively, the Commissioner for Information, Nnanyelugo Chidi Aroh, maintained that the government’s order announcing a shutdown of the road by midnight of Monday, March 8, stands.

Aroh who revealed that he led a state government delegation to also inspect the construction yard of the company handling the flyover, IDC Construction Limited, said that all was now set for the commencement of the project in earnest. He added that the contractor assured that he would deliver the project before the end of 2021.

The Information Commissioner said the flyover project, when completed, would ease traffic gridlock in the area.

Also speaking, the Works Commissioner, Nnaji, stated that the contractor had been fully mobilized and was ready for the take-off of the project, pointing out that five roads have been designated for public use as diversions.

Engr. Nnaji who said that the five designated roads are being announced on air, listed them to include, Abakpa Nike Last Bus Stop-Oda Ngene- Umuchigbo-Nike Harmony Estate Adoration Road Junction; Bishop Shanahan- Ugbene 11-Ugbo Ndafe-Ama Owelle- Alulu-EELG HQ-Nkwor Nike Junction, and Emene-Adoration Ministries Pilgrimage Center- Harmony Estate- Umuchigbo bye-pass.

Others are Abakpa Nike Road-Liberty Junction- Ogwuagor- Uzo Aku Layout- Umuchigbo Harmony Estate Adoration Pilgrimage Centre, and Nike Lake Road- Ugwueke Junction- Igwe Edward Nnaji Palace- Enugu East Development Center-Amangwu Umuenwene - Oda Ngene- Umuchigbo Harmony Estate Adoration Pilgrimage Centre.

Gov. Ugwuanyi had inspected the designated road diversions to ensure their accessibility and readiness prior to closure of the Nike Lake/T-Junction road for construction work.

Clarifying further, the Information Commissioner, Aroh, noted that the state government has erected road signs and massive billboards to redirect motorists and road users accordingly, in the affected areas.

“Part of our responsibility is to once more inform the people that we are shutting down this road by 12 midnight; we have created five diversions; the announcements have been there in the radio; at the point of each diversion, we have put road signs; we are not stopping at that, we are going to put bigger billboards; we are going to ensure that our people don’t suffer too much while this massive work is going on,” Aroh said.

According to the Works Commissioner, “our responsibility in the next 48 hours is to ensure that work starts in earnest. Three links to T-Junction would be closed by 12 midnight today; part of why we are here is to see the preparedness of the contractor. Over there, you can see the concrete blockages, by tomorrow the actual setting out will begin.

“The five designated lanes for diversion are on air, we will all make sure that this big project is realized; Enugu people are waiting, the word is waiting, it is a state-of-the-art bridge and we can’t wait any longer to have it.

“The state government has been very proactive in planning for this construction; mid last year, we commissioned the first by-pass, Nike Road by-pass, it is in anticipation that we will do this project. From just after Nike Road, you head to Umuchigbo, Harmony Estate layout, Adoration Pilgrimage Centre and Orie Emene, it is one of the major roads that will take traffic, especially articulated vehicles. We advise all articulated vehicles to take that route.

“Then, if you are coming from NOWAS, get to Zenith Bank, UBA, you go left, then at a Roundabout, you turn and hit Dental Technology, then you tee off to Bishop Shanahan, that is on the lext axis, you now meet Ugbene 2, Ugbo Ndafe, then to Local Government Headquarters.

“If you are also coming from the Timber, very close to where we are now, we have recently put some culverts to ensure that people pass, in anticipation that this project will go through; when you pass through that place, you go through Igwe Edward Nnaji Palace, you now come to the Development Centre, you take the Old Road, and still hit Umuchigbo.

“If you are coming from Abakpa Nike, Nike Grammar School, you cross the bridge, you come to St. Theresa, you tee off to the right, to Ogwuago, from Ogwuago you go down to Ugwuaku Layout, you are at the same Nike Lake Harmony bypass.

“The collector road, the main road that takes all the traffic, it was our proactiveness to make sure that the road was done; you can now see the relevance, the vision of the Enugu State Government in doing things in order. That road was given a priority and it is now living up to expectations.

“We are appealing to our people to be patient with us; they should put enough care while passing through these roads; it is going to take some time but it is worth it.”

On his part, the project manager of IDC, Mr. Youssef Zghaib said the company was ready to hit the ground running, assuring that, “we were awarded this project with the duration of one year, but we promise to do our best to deliver within less than one year for sure.

“We don’t want to reach the deadline; with the promise that the funds are available, for sure we will try to deliver before the end of 2021, we deliver projects on time; we have the machines; what you see here is a very small sample of what you will see in the next two weeks.”

In a remark, the Chairman of Enugu East Local Government Area, Hon. Alex Ugwu commended Gov. Ugwuanyi for the landmark project, stressing: “Our able governor has done all the needful, the contractor will now go to the site, any structure he marks, we will inform the owner to remove it.”

Enugu govt to commence operations of its Tech Hubs, Youth Innovation Centres

…Advertises posts of General Managers

To actualize its policy on skills acquisition and youth empowerment, the administration of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, has called for applications from qualified candidates for appointments as General Managers of the newly established State Tech Hub and Youth Innovation Centres in Enugu Urban and Obollo Afor, Udenu Local Government Area.

A statement by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Prof. Simon Uchenna Ortuanya, disclosed that the advertisement for the posts of General Managers was in keeping with the state government’s commitment to the immediate commencement of the two Technology Hubs and Youth Innovation Centres.

Prof. Ortuanya explained that “the General Managers shall be the Chief Executive Officers responsible for the day to day administration of the Enugu State Technology Hubs and Youth Innovation Centres”.

The SSG added that their duties also include managing the business of training youths in the centres; coordinating and directing the Departmental Heads; supervising staff matters and carrying out such other functions as may be delegated to them from time to time by the Supervising Ministry.

He pointed out that a candidate eligible for appointment as General Manager of the centre must possess “a good Honours Degree or its equivalent in Information and Communication Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Administration, Management and other related disciplines from a recognized University or other institution of higher learning”.

Prof. Ortuanya who maintained that interested candidate must have a minimum of five (5) years cognate experience in the relevant industry, revealed that “possession of a Master’s degree or post-graduate certificate will be an added advantage”.

The SSG therefore asked qualified and interested candidates to submit in sealed envelopes, their typewritten applications with ten (10) copies of relevant credentials, Curriculum Vitae (CV), two (2) recent photographs, names and addresses of three (3) referees, one of whom must be the candidate’s present employer, to the Permanent Secretary (General Administration), Office of the Secretary to the State Government, Abuja Building, Government House, Enugu, on or before March 12, 2021.

The statement noted that the sealed envelopes should be marked “Post of General Manager, Enugu State Technology Hub and Innovation Centre” on the top left corner, indicating the preferred centre (Enugu Urban or Obollo Afor).

It highlighted that each referee is to forward a confidential report on the applicant directly to the address above, stating that “the conditions of service are as obtainable in the state’s Public Service System” as “the successful candidates will be entitled to all officially approved benefits attached to the post of General Manager”.

Recall that Gov. Ugwuanyi’s administration last year commenced massive construction and renovation of facilities at the centres, a worthwhile venture which the Commissioner for Science and Technology, Hon. Obi K**a, said was initiated by the governor to bring technology-driven innovations down to the grassroots for digital economy.

Hon. K**a disclosed that the target “is to turn Enugu into a Tech tourism state within the next three years by bringing in the best Tech solutions and innovations through localization and consequently increase the state Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by at least 15 percent”.

He added that “the hub also targets to create more than 1,500 small scale tech businesses in the region; employing more than 10,000 youths within the short space of time”, revealing that “the centres will be equipped with computer sets, solar power source, 100 KVA Generator, internet access, training tools and consumables”.

The Commissioner further disclosed that the services to be rendered at the Tech Hub centres for the benefit of the people of Enugu State, especially the youth, include, computer training programmes, solar skills acquisition training, computer coding, web site designs, graphic designs, confectionaries and hands-on technical skills training, among others.

Enugu State is in the hands of God!
