The end is in sight for this principal bedroom to be completed. I’m not into the full arty farty drawings… I’m old school I have a vision and crack the whip until it becomes reality 😬

Logistically it has been an absolute nightmare but anyone who knows me knows I love a challenge (sure the team have other opinions… they love me really) 🤣

Just wait until the professional photographs are rolled out, this mood board will come to life even better than you can imagine 😍

Indulge in the ultimate après-ski experience as you retreat to your cozy chalet after an exhilarating day on the slopes.

Chalet Design

A breathtaking open-concept living space, adorned with rustic wooden beams and high ceilings creates an immediate sense of grandeur. Large windows frame stunning panoramic views of the snow-capped mountains, allowing natural light to flood the space and bring the outdoors in.

The centrepiece of the living area is a magnificent stone fireplace, creating warmth and ambiance during those chilly winter evenings. Plush, oversized sofas and armchairs invite you to relax and unwind, while soft textiles and fur accents add a touch of luxury.

After a day on the slopes, unwind in your private oasis and indulge in a world of tranquility.

Top Tip - Dining

As a property developer one of the main focuses is the importance of a dining space for several reasons:

1. Appeal to Potential Buyers or Tenants: A well-designed dining space adds value to a property and can attract potential buyers or tenants. It enhances the overall aesthetic appeal of the property and creates a positive impression.

2. Enhance Marketability: A thoughtfully designed dining space can make a property stand out among the competition. It adds a unique selling point and can differentiate the property from others in the market.

3. Create Functional Living Spaces: A dining space contributes to the functionality of a property. It provides a designated area for meals, gatherings, and socializing, which is highly desirable for homeowners and tenants.

4. Promote Social Interaction: A well-designed dining space encourages social interaction and brings people together. It creates a welcoming environment for family meals and entertaining guests.

5. Increase Property Value: A property with an appealing dining space is likely to achieve a higher price or rental value. Buyers or tenants are willing to pay more for a property that offers a well-designed and functional dining area. Buyers often consider the overall layout and functionality of a property, and a well-appointed dining area contributes to its desirability.

6. Reflect Lifestyle and Design Preferences: The dining space is an opportunity to reflect the lifestyle and design preferences of the target market. It allows the developer to create a space that resonates with potential buyers or tenants, making them feel at home and connected to the property.

7.Support Healthy Living: A dining space promotes healthy living by encouraging regular family meals. It provides a dedicated space for individuals and families to prioritize healthy eating habits and create a sense of routine.

By recognising the importance of a dining space and incorporating it into developments, you as a developer can enhance the attractiveness, functionality, and overall value of your properties.

Bathroom..

A tranquil designed bathroom can have a profound impact on your ability to relax and unwind. The bathroom is often a sanctuary, a place where we can escape the chaos and demands of the outside world. By creating a serene and calming atmosphere, a tranquil bathroom design can enhance the overall experience, allowing us to truly let go of stress and tension.

By creating a soothing and peaceful atmosphere, incorporating calming colours, natural elements, soft lighting, soothing sounds, and maintaining a sense of organisation, we can transform a bathroom into a sanctuary where you can escape, unwind, and find much-needed relaxation and rejuvenation.

Interior styling plays a crucial role in interior design, as it adds personality, style, and character to a space. When strategically placed, ornaments can enhance the overall aesthetic appeal of a room and create visual interest.

One important aspect of styling is considering the scale and proportion of the space. Large ornaments, such as sculptures or statement pieces, can serve as focal points and anchor a room. Placing them in areas with high visibility, such as on mantels, console tables, or as standalone pieces, draws attention and adds a sense of grandeur. On the other hand, smaller ornaments, such as vases, figurines, or decorative objects, can be dispersed throughout the room to create a cohesive and harmonious look.

Another consideration is the placement of ornaments in relation to other elements in the room. For instance, ornaments can be strategically positioned to complement the colors, textures, and patterns of the surrounding furniture, walls, or textiles. This creates a sense of harmony and balance within the space.

Ornaments can also be used to define different zones within a room. For open-concept spaces, placing larger ornaments or artwork can help delineate specific areas, such as a seating area or a dining space. This adds visual structure and creates a sense of organization within the larger space.

Ultimately, interior styling should be thoughtful and intentional, taking into account the overall design concept, the desired ambiance, and the personal style of the homeowner. By carefully considering scale, proportion, coordination with other elements, and the specific purpose of the space, styling can elevate the interior design, creating a visually appealing and cohesive environment.

Panelling is a design technique that involves adding decorative or architectural panels to walls and ceilings. It is a simple yet effective way to elevate the overall look and feel of a space, giving it a more luxurious and expensive appearance without breaking the bank. Here are a few reasons why panelling can achieve this effect:

1.Visual Interest and Texture: Panelling adds depth and texture to a space, making it visually interesting and appealing. Whether it’s traditional wainscoting, shiplap, or decorative panels, the added architectural detail creates a sense of sophistication and elegance.

2.Timeless Elegance: Panelling has been used in interior design for centuries, and it has stood the test of time. Its classic and timeless appeal adds a touch of elegance to any room, creating a sense of grandeur that can make a space feel more expensive and luxurious.

3.Versatility: Panelling can be customised to fit any style or design aesthetic. Whether you prefer a more traditional look or a modern twist, panelling can be adapted to suit your taste. Additionally, it can be installed in various forms, such as full wall panels, half walls, or even as an accent on furniture, giving you the flexibility to incorporate it into different areas of your home.

4.Increased Value: Adding panelling to your space can significantly increase its perceived value. Potential buyers will be impressed by the attention to detail and the sense of luxury that panelling brings, making your home more desirable and potentially increasing its resale value.

5.Cost-Effective Solution: While panelling can give the impression it’s expensive, it is actually a cost-effective solution compared to other high-end design options. With a wide range of materials available, including affordable options like MDF or laminate, you can achieve a luxurious look without the hefty price tag.

In our Georgian Private Residence, we removed the wall between the dining room and kitchen to create one large open social space. The two rooms were disconnected and a waste of valuable space.

Carefully designed to maintain traditional aspects of the property, at the same time giving our clients a modern style kitchen.

Home isn’t just a place…

It’s a feeling 🤍

In all my designs I have the expertise to deliver beautiful homely spaces. That feeling ‘of a big warm hug’ as you walk through the door. As previously quoted by a client.

Even down to the bathroom no space should ever compromise on how you feel when you walk into it.

Layered textures

In this project I have used a mixture of elements to amalgamate the design.

I’m all about natural wood, I love the authenticity and simplicity it brings to a room. This particular piece has beautiful natural knots which add more character and uniqueness.

To all you wonderful women take this day to recognise how amazing you all are. So let’s celebrate our achievements whether they are big or small and appreciate this journey we are on 🥰

I’m not one to usually share mood boards but until my professional photos are complete from my ongoing projects I thought I’d share this little beauty 🤎

I’m in the middle of designing our office at home. This space is really important to me as it’s a space to get creative, to inspire me but also be a therapeutic space to work from.

Working from home whether it be part time or full time is becoming more and more the norm, so why not create a space for you to be the best you can be in being creative.

Now I’m by no means tech savvy but some things your mind creates can’t be put onto paper. I really can’t wait to share the finished design on this one 🤍

We opted for rectangular white gloss ceramic tiles to add texture, paired with a warm light grey wall colour to take the edge off the cool clinical feeling white can reflect. We also added a shower niche for appealing practical storage. Finally we finished with a soft oak herringbone floor to maintain warmth and texture.
