Qingyun Chinese Music Ensemble

If you play any musical instrument (does not have to be traditional instruments) and are interested in joining our ensemble, here’s your chance!

Dates: Saturday 1/13 - Sunday 1/14
Audition Location: East Quad B424

Please send us a email ([email protected]) with your:

1. Name
2. Instrument (please let us know if you own the instrument) or interested board position
3. Contact information (WeChat Account welcome)
4. Times that you are available for auditioning (let us know if neither days work for you and we can work something out)

Audition day info:
1. Bring your instrument (we provide Guzheng/zither and Yangqin/dulcimer). If you don’t owe the instrument, please let us know in the email. We can provide rentals.
2. Prepare a piece that you are most comfortable performing and best showcase your skills.
3. Don’t forget to relax and get some nice rest beforehand! We looks forward to meeting you 😊

What instruments do we accept?
Besides traditional Chinese instruments, we also welcome Western instruments (such as piano, guitar, percussion etc.)! If you have an interest in music composition or arrangement, we would love to have you!! We also welcome beginners and anyone who’s interested in learning instruments :))
