Last night I was dressed as the most famous Philippine Diwata, Maria Makiling — the guardian spirit of the mountain responsible for protecting its bounty and thus, is also a benefactor for the townspeople who depend on the mountain's resources.🧚‍♀️🏔️

I just love how this year’s Halloween Ball/Alamat Gala was about the embodiment and full celebration of characters and figures from our rich Philippine folklore, legends, and mythology!! Only fitting that the event was held at the National Museum of Anthropology which made it even more memorable.. and spooky!! 👻 Happy Halloween, everyone!! 🫶🏻
