50 Million Year Old Eocene Era Fossil Fish Mural in Stone, from Wyoming

This elegant piece of fossil art features a Cockerellites liops (formerly known as Priscacara) and two Knightia eocaena, all of which are Eocene era fossils dating back about 50 million years. The ancient fish are forever preserved in a beautifully textured matrix of natural, fossil-bearing limestone.

The mural measures approximately 2 feet x 1.4 feet. It is fully backed with wood and it includes a handmade custom Wenge wood frame which compliments the fossil color beautifully. The mural has a built-in cleat, which allows for an easy installation.
